yeah, thanks to dwindle they switched to Globes factory, and the increase in quality is obvious.

let me know how you like them, some friends of mine already skated them and they were pretty satisfied.

How skatable would you say they are? Or is the tread too thin?

Shoe is well slimmed down it's not regular slim like the lynx compared to the original, or too puffy,
just the sole doesn't grip it's black rubber new balance runners like.

I bought the previous Thomas model the Chief whatever number, and the suede looks and wears more like felt, you know, stuff they make uncomfortable blankets out of.

you sure...? I talked to a rep at agenda this week and he said they're still in their same factory when I asked... But to be fair, the quality does like better than when they were at Blackbox

And also the lamest looking. Of all the larger shoe brands that've come into skating, New Balance makes the least sense. Wackest shoes.

NB looks like quality, and they definitely look comfortable, but it's just too out of place for me. My version of out of place. For 30 years I would only see that N on the feet of old people who want to walk comfortably. Now Arto wears them. It's weird to me. I don't want them out of skating or anything, I don't give a shit, but I still haven't gotten used to it.

Yeah, I agree with your disagreeing. They look like well made skate shoes to me. They look built better than any Vans, Hufs, Lakais or sole tech shoes.

idk if the picture thing works but i did skate these Osiris, liked them but they were eh, if they made the sole sidewall thicker and taller and made them with suede i would still be buying them, oh well, maybe ES will make those Accels in a black and gum or grey and gum colorway.

Im doing a weartest on a pair of 533's now and have been loving em. I come from skating very thin shoes all the time so it's been kind of surprising how much I like them once I've worn them in a bit.

I swear half of slap are wear-testers for them

on a different note, thought I'd try some huf classics since some people seem to like them

uncomfortable as hell and so far skate pretty poorly. I swore off huf shoes after skating in the arenas, which were terrible, but found these for $25 and couldn't help myself. barely worth it even at that price.

So New Balance is actually making a great skate shoe that everyones seems to like and you say they are wack, Huf makes an overpriced, unoriginal piece of shit and is one of the best right now. You must be right!

They are very uncomfortable at first but great once broken in. First few times wearing mine I doubted being able to skate them at all they seemed so bad. Power through for a bit and you may end up loving them like I did though. Maybe try heating them up to speed up the process.

Skated these for a couple of hours today, I'm used to skating pretty thick cupsoles, the extra boardfeel was a nice change but after about 2 hours the arches of my feet were pretty sore.
