It was madness in there once everyone figured out the shoes and decks were free.

I think even the display sample colors of the navy/red/gum and maroon/white got taken too. Haha.
[close]

who could have seen that coming.
[close]
haha and some of the photos too, no?
[close]

I think so.   ;D

Thanks to Adidas/Habitat/Atlas for the party/giveaway.

fuck dude, i was in the city and i wanted to go, but even though i planned the trip for weeks in advance but my ride bitched out and wanted to go to a ufc fight or some shit, but i'm 16 and from what i heard they don't encourage people coming if they aren't 21 or some shit. it fucking sucks because theres never any demos or skate related partys at all where i live, and when there is i don't find out about it until later because they posted some random Instagram post about it or something.

Started to skate the Suciu shoe today, legit shoe and insole. So good that I don't think i'll put in the FP gamechangers like I do in all my shoes.

Adiprene top part of the insole feels like a cat's tongue, grips your feet/socks.

[close]

That's a awesome fucking feature! I really hate when the insole is slippery, like in my busenitz pro's, i have to tie them tighter to feel my feet safe.

Does the insole have arch support like gamechangers do?

It has a very high heel area, no actual support pad. But you can feel the heel support when you wear them.

i just got these emerica reynolds low in this sick ass black and gum color way, so far not even skating them yet i want another pair, the sole is thick and i love it, a homie down at DLXSF gave me a 15% discount on them and i'm hyped, and if they look big that's because there in a 13, flipper feet sucks.

you must get alot of discounts because you are a 13. I had the reynolds mids (the ones previous to the lows) and they were ok. Really durable but I was missing the boardfeel.

Trying another pair of Huf. Grabbed the Mercer Mid, which is the Reese Forbes RF1 rip. Looks really nice on foot. The footbed and midsole is super comfortable. Skates just ok, like any standard vulc. Not used to skating in mids so it took a little adjustment having a higher cut shoe on. I will say that for a mid, the heel lock isn't anything special, which surprised me. Best way I can describe the fit is generic. Not sure about durability yet, only have about 2 hours on these. (Finally got my Suciu's so they're up next.)

I like the look of these, which is pretty rare for Hufs.

The tread looks like rubbish though. I'd give them 2/3 weeks tops.

Agreed completely Frip. I don't usually skate Huf shoes. I think they are generally overrated and overpriced. I've skated the Pepper, Galaxy, Sutter, Dylan, and now these. The Dylan were the best of the bunch, IMO. The rest were unmemorable. These look great but you nailed it, the soles are SUPER soft. Which is nice because it's grippy right out of the box, but probably go like wildfire.

hmm never really thought my abnormal foot size would get me discounts, sweet, yeah so far i'm tripping about the insole, i can't tell if it's Styrofoam or rubber, either way it feels thin.

yeah the insole is pretty weak but the midsole is where the bulk of the impact absorption happens. If it had like vans pro insole or whatever there would be no board feel at all lol. love the reynolds cup tho, only shoe i skate now.

Best shoe out. I think. Currently on my third pair:

The pair before. I've got a new pair of this color waiting on deck, after the brown ones are done.

Before those I had this pair of G6's. It was my third pair of those. Another good shoe. More lightweight than the Reynolds. But not as much support. The Reynolds really hold up.

And my first pair of them. They take a minute to break in. But once they do, this shoe rules. I hope Emerica keeps making them for a long time.

Sorry if I didn't go back enough to find someone who is skating them, but could anyone give me a size comparison between the the Westgate CCs and his runner toe model?  I'm 10.5 in the runner toe and want to make sure a 10.5 in the CCs will work since I have to order them because no shops around me have them.

Skating the cole lite 3's right now and they're really good. I replaced the insole with some footprint ones and its the perfect balance between protection and board feel. They also have the rubber layer which adds some durability too.
