got about 4 hours on these so far. For the first hour or two the boardfeel was pretty shitty but its definitely starting to get better. A couple more sessions and they'll probably be perfect. seems impossible to hurt your feet in these, but the bumpy things on the insole are annoying as hell. suede seems to be really nice quality and the grip and flick are both good, plus I'm down to support suciu. The shop only had the alf colorway in my size tho  :-\

Thought these are the best shoes out in years, well at least for adidas.
Been running almost all their cupsoles and buz vulcs but these are the ticket, the boardfeel was unreal out of the box.

The colorway is bit meh but just think it as a timberland color instead of alf and you all good, still had to get the black ones asap.

I like the Alf colorway.  Not sure why so many people are bummed on it.

i like the color way but couldn't wear it because i can't deal with any shoe color other than black, but they look nice. also i found my pair of crocketts in my closet and skated them again and i forgot how ridiculously good the grip is, the only things i dislike about the shoe is the fit and how the fast the rubber outsole goes.

toebox is on the wider side, pretty accommodating fit. in person the toe looks way less bulbous/large than photos online. for sizing I went a half size down and still had a little room to spare. adidas has pretty inconsistent sizing so I'd say try em on first if you can

Agree completely with Sports. This is definitely a shoe you want to try on first if you have that option at your local. I went half size down and they fit my foot like my "usual" size.

the nice guys at supra sent me these (thank you!), the look pretty damn great. like a updated and slightly higher Avex. feels great, first Supras in a while that perfectly fit my wide feet.

usually Supras fit a little tight for me, those fit perfectly, seem to be a little on the wider side. comparable to Emerica G6.
Weartested review should be on its way, i am sadly out of the game for another 4 months thanks to ACL surgery.
so far they feel like a improved G6/Avex hybrid, which is pretty damn good. since i havent skated them i cant really say anything yet, but i would be really surprised if they didnt skate great, especially given the fact how damn durable my last few supras were.

How are you liking them Tate? My shop has the brown/gum ones, tried them and they felt a little tight in my true size, but they just have a full size up which is too big... Do they stretch a lot in the long time or nah? Because i'm thinking in changing the stock insole for a legit one.

Also, i made a little break skating my busenitz and started skating in my blazer hi's i had for quite some time. I thought i couldnt skate in them again but i had quite good session in them. The are for sure the most durante shoe i've had but now that i've tried many different shoes i can feel the flaws... They have close to no impact absortion, the sole/insole is very hard and my feet starts to feel sore sooner. Also my pinky toes start to hurt after some hours skating them. No vantilation too. Still a great shoe, has my favourite grip ever, not ultra grippy but grips well still, deep, and barelly burns down.. The suede holds pretty good too and no major rip points. They last forever!

I just got the Silas ADV/VLC from Adidas for 30 bucks (the Yeezyish grey ones ::)). They look great and fit well, but holy shit- my feet have never hurt so bad after an 8 hour shift. I assume breaking in will remedy it, but I have never encountered this. It could be due to the construction. It feels like a vulcanized version of the SLR sole. Hard to explain without a Weartested-esque crosscut. Really good looking shoes, though. Yet another Silas pro model that everyone will pass up til it's too late.

PS: Sk.A.T.A.N- if theres no metal on the Blazers, pull out the insoles and laces and microwave the shoes for about 45 seconds. Then just work the hell of the sole until the cardstock stuff on the inside breaks in.

Got my true size, I don't know if they stretch, only skated them for the first time yesterday. Give me a couple days and I will find out.

Stock insole is garbage, glued into shoe. Ripped it off and used some FP, way better.

what can you guys tell me about the etnies highlight? i just got them in the mail, but got the wrong size. they were almost to wide for me (!) i have really wide feet.

any was shoe seems awesome, however the sole seems so fucking soft holy shit, i can almost push my fingernail into it. the whole sole basically feels like a mid sole. so will this sole last me more than 3 sessions? if not ill sell it or walk in it, the shipping is kinda expensive, just wondering if its worth the price to return it.

I have a pair. That shoe could be one of the best ever, but they fucked it up by not putting rubber in the sole. It just burns like wild fire and is slippery as shit if you dont have fresh griptape... My advice is to not skate in them, use it a chillers or so, they are comfy as shit, still bummed i skated my pair.

well god damnit. i was so stoked on this shoe.
after reading all the reviews i could find (like 2  :-\ ) it definitely seems like the sole is slippery like you said, but nothing about the soles durability. how long did the sole last you? compared to how long a shoe usually last you.

im not really the guy to wear shoes as chiller but damn are these shoes fine. hhnnnnnnng.
if the sole is gonna last me more than 2 weeks ill get it as a chiller an skate it if im ever out of shoes. thanks.

A shoe usually last me 3/4 months of skating... Those lasted me about 1 till the sole get so thin that hurt skating. The upper was good tho. If you walk thru some sharp shit it just cuts the sole up like its nothing. also the inner heel cup thing broke in the 2 shoes, leaving the heel really lose and unsafe. Oh and its a cup sole.

i got three weeks on mine....were a little snug first but really good shoe and they definitely stretch out after walking them around the house for a day or two.

just make sure to superglue the stitching on the toe!!! sole lasts pretty good.
