i got these bad boys for my recent trip to california...like four days of skating and i've completely destroyed the side of flicking shoe. people on here said these rubberized canvas ones were supposed to last forever!! granted they still skated amazing but damn i shredded these things to pieces.

Damn I feel sorry for you concerned_parent. Converse should be ashamed of selling it the same price as suede ones, they should be at least 30% cheaper than the suedes.
I agree with you finland, it's a shame, and even vegetarian shouldn't buy canvas shoes, having to get rid of your shoes faster isn't a better option for the environment than buying suede shoes. They should buy some synthetic shoes or something. While people continue to buy canvas shoes to skate, companies will continue to offer this possibility.
We as consumers have the power on the future of companies, and we should stand our ground and buy products
from brands that deserve it at shops that deserve it.
