Tate, how long/hard did you skate those koston 3s? They look like they held up pretty damn good!

I think one month or so, I do a shit ton of kickflips. All that's happened was I ripped the lace hole.

Everything else is still intact, grip is still great.

IMO the surf soles are better than the skate shoes. haven't skated in them, but pretty sure they would need a healthy shoe gooing to last more than a couple of sessions.

Anyone have experience with the Etnies Low-Cut? Specifically want to know if it will accommodate my wide feet (and if it's good). Looks pretty similar to the Marana so hopefully it's good. I don't really care for the design but its cheap on ebay

[close]

If that E wasnt on there id love to try those!

If they are anything like maranas(I have the willow model) they are beyond comfy and fit perfect. I got six pair cheap so I lucked out on that. But honestly they are so comfy outta the box I wear a pair around the house instead of my oldman slippers.

Shitty thing is ill be rocking the same colourway all fuckin summer haha
ok one i've seen and held them, kind of a thin shoe, i wouldn't imagine they would feel the same as the marana, but the E would be easy as hell the cut off so it doesn't really matter, but if the price is right i would go for it.

Wearing Sucuis for the first time today, I want to cut my fucking foot off. The way the insole grabs my sock is driving me nuts. I'm seriously contemplating donating these things, but I don't want to subject some poor person to these things, they're already having a hard time.

I felt that way in the superstars for the first few seconds but the insole more than made up for it after that.  I find I just loosen the laces more than usual before putting it on and to fix that grippy insole issue.  You can't just slip these on.

Never mind. They warmed up, kind of broke down, and are now super comfortable. I wrote that previous comment after only walking out of my apartment to the car, car to train.  After walking around in them for a few hours they're great. I'm sure they skate great too.

A grippy insole sounds really good to me. One thing i hated about my busenitz was the slippery insole. I had to glue some fabric to it, then changed the insole for some nike ones... If it is a slippery insole i have to tie the shoes really tight and they look dumb.

How wide are they compared to other Adidas?  I have a mid to slightly high arch so I tend to go toward more narrow shoes like Adidas (I can actually shake my foot around the inside of the NBs I tried they're so wide.)  I like the design but they look like they're wide compared to other Adidas.
You probably wouldn't like them tbh. They're wider than the Busenitz pro. I can't wear most adidas because of how narrow they are, but these are perfect.

yeah, HATE, you wouldn't be a fan of the Suciu.  Of the adiprene shoes, the Superstar ADV is more like the fit of the Lucas...but still a little roomy in comparison
