I've skated those shoes for nearly 2 months, that is long for me. No holes, no shoe lace rip, no major sole wear.

598's do last, I gave the shoe to a kid who could fit a size 9. He skated them right away.

Can't really tell in the photos! Skated them for almost 2 months, which is long for me and they still look fine. No holes/tears.

Only the sole was slightly worn down.

But tons of life left, but I get tired of looking and skating the same pair of shoes for a while, so I have to switch it up. So I gave them away.

Maybe instead of describing your shoes as "old" whenever you switch them out, just say you got tired of and donated them. It seems like this topic comes up every six months or so.

I have a bunch of sneakers I don't really keep track of how many since I trade or flip a lot of sneakers.

As for old shoes, I give them to whoever can fit them after I am "done" with them. Which is still plenty of life left.

They're warm as fuck, and much better than the shitty boots I was wearing before - no boardfeel though

oddly enough (probably because of the construction of the mid area), the mids do not have the 'heel raise' of the regular Busenitz pros and the sole of the toe is a little bit thinner. I love em because they are a true mid and don't inhibit your ankle movement, but still protect em from the board.

also, I had the first pair of Sucius and they feel better constructed now than that first batch. the internal booty is better.
