Yeah they are, I really like them so far.  The shape is just right and they feel less bulky than the Kyle Walkers I was skating before.

I forgot how regular slip-ons fit. how do they compare to the pro's? is it easy to rip out the canvas insole?

Damn, that pair is in such good condition, are you really sure you want to skate those beautiful things? I decided to skate mine and now I feel sad to see them got destroyed, knowing that when they're done there is no more replacements...

I've never tried the pro's, but I like the fit of these. They do get a little loose after some wear, I'm assuming the pros would be a little more snug to hold your foot better. Haven't taken the insoles out either, but they're the kind that are glued down. I can only skate these on mellow shit for like a half hour at a time before my feet go numb. Definitely more of a chill shoe, but I love the way they look.

Anyone skated the Koston 3's? How's the fit - are they true to size? Coming from a pair of Bruin Hyperfeels that I'm really into, but can't find another pair below retail.

They were true to size for me but a lot of people have said they had to go half a size up. Really snug fit but lightweight & unrestricting. The heel lock is excellent. Forefoot is kind of tight tho, probably why people go up half a size

True to size puts my toes right up against the end in the bad way. Always feels like I'm stubbing my toe tts. I went .5 up in one pair though and they felt like I had flippers. I have no idea, is what I'm saying.

The lunar gatos are flat, the prod 7 and BA have a thin ortholite insole with a slight arch. The K3 zoom air lunarlon is more firm and has a bigger arch than the other three.

Jumped on the State train cause Im just kind of over giving money to Nikeadidasvans.

After an initial push, they feel great. Nice high quality materials and a good shape.
Honestly, they feel just like my Old Skool Pros. I'm super picky about vulc, with Vans being my favorite and these feel just the same. Good grip, just the right amount of sticky.
Nice shoes. Hope the company lasts. I'll buy more.

Haven't skated them yet but here's my initial impression
Good: great looking shoe, nice tread pattern, square'ish toe shape, super flexible/broken-in right out of the box, right amount of tongue padding
Bad: heel dips way too low--a good 1/4 inch compared to other shoes so expect heel slippage and shit heel lock, foxing's unusually thin, no centering straps, stock insoles, thin suede.
No major surprises other than the heel issue. these would look sick with fat laces  8)

Nice.  Always wanted a pair in that color but never saw them anywhere and then after K-Swiss bought them, I wasn't too eager to seek them out.

They are named the avex? I skated them as well, really grippy shoe and good for flicks. Also, can't beat any shoe for $10.
