I have had a few pairs of these shoes and love them, the insole is trash (like most vans) but it's a very durable shoe and skates well IMO

It still is a PU insole, which will last a lot longer than most EVA foam insoles. I don't see why everybody hates the new ones, they aren't as good as the old ones but still better than most stock insoles out there.

IMO, it's not so much the change in the insole, it's that they didn't account for the new insoles being shaped a little different and now all the shoes fit differently/worse.  the slip-on pro used to fit like a glove, now with the new insoles, the heel lock is all wonky.  so annoying.

I went half size down for the slip on since they'll stretch..they were only 27euro  
Last two are classics and I'm using the ultracush insole from the half cab pro.
Basically I'm a dudesarecool5/chris pulman fanboy.

I got these but had to cut out the neoprene sock.  Why would I want a wetsuit in my shoe?  it wasn't tight or high enough to protect my ankle or anything and my foot was sweating immediately.

Does the T toe is the same as the ADV sambas (as in there is nothing under the T toe) or does the leather part goes all the way under the suede T toe?

They're different shoes. The weartested shoe is the samba adv while that white one is the busenitz samba (his vulc shoe with a T toe).

That being said, I'm not sure but I think on the busenitz the leather goes down to the foxing. I think I saw a picture somewhere of it.

To be fair, I skated a pair of the non-skate Samba's years ago, and one of my friends skated a pair even recently, and I'm 99% sure that's how the non-skate Sambas are as well, with the leather that doesn't extend all the way.

The boozy sambas have leather under the suede and I'm pretty sure there is Adituff or some shit under that. I think it says it on the tactics benson or other guy vid. I've been skating them and I've only ripped the stitching so far. I'll probably just end up using my maroon Samba ADVs for chilling because those DONT have those extra layers. They feel great though.

Most shoes wouldn't have leather/suede going all the way to the sole when there's a toe cap. Companies want to save as much money as possible, and doing that just costs extra.

I feel like the duracap in vans (and the rubberized versions other brands are doing underneath the suede) is a fairly new trend.

That shit's been around 20+ years. I had a pair of MC Raps that had it under leather.
