It was my birthday yesterday and my folks got me these. I fucking love slip ons and the gray is super clean. Also reminds me of the OG Dylan Gravis shoe.

[close]

I love that blue foxing stripe! I've searched and searched for these in my size (in Canada) with no luck.
[close]

I totally agree. I love how simple and sleek the gray is but that blue stripe really makes the shoe.

Bummer you’re having no luck man.

The brown ones look sick too (still like the gray a little better though.)

Damn, these brown ones are sick!

Anybody try the new G-Codes yet?

a friend of mine was wearing them right when they came out and i tried them on at my local shop the same day. i think they did a nice job on reworking the sole compared to the jerry HSUs that had the same sole construction when they first came out. i hated the sole on that shoe.....felt slippery and they would not stretch one fucking bit!
in the G-Codes they seem to have reworked the fit too and they are true to size for me. toe looks really good, like it would have nice flick to it. said friend of mine that got his pair struggled quite a while with kickflipping  cause they were so grippy! he came from some torn apart shoe he sure skated for the last 6 months. anyway the rubber feels really nice and hella grippy just when you hold em. cushioning was comfy when i tried them on!

have em stashed away at the shop and will get em soon!

es sense.  Had my first real session in these last night.  The outsole is really thick so even broken in they feel really stiff.  That being said they're very supportive and seem built well overall.  Imagine they'll feel better the more I skate them
All you got is today, get out and skate.

Yeah the foam in the sole needs to smushed down/broken in but it’s a lot more flexible once they are. I’m skating the Seslas with the same midsole and I’ve actually been pretty impressed. Lightweight but still very cushioned on harder impacts. STi foam is legit

Thanks! Definitely worth investigating - it usually costs an arm and a leg after tax and the dollar conversion..

I usually have on a pair of these http://www.crocs.com/p/crocs-bistro/10075.html?cgid=slip-resistant-work-shoes&cid=001#start=1

They don't look nice but i can comfortably do 12 hour shifts in them and would have little to no foot pain.

How does the CTAS High Suede compare to the Huf Classic Hi? I miss having a pair of full suede high tops and huf doesn't make the classic hi in full suede anymore

These are just some $10 generic ones from the Warehouse(New Zealand equivalent of like a cheap Walmart). Very average quality but thin and light which is nice. I think anything ripstop or bdu should be nice. I think a lot of people get those Rothco ones.

Finally went and copped me a pair of some Bubblegum Tate’s

I’m usually against this, but I might just have to microwave em one time for the culture

Definitely had to go half a size up tho. They fit perfectly snug fresh out the box but Im sure I wouldn’t have even been able to fit my normal size.

I've been injured and real under-the-weather lately, so I treated myself to some fancy jordans:

I never wear shoes like these (and I can't imagine skating them) so every day I'm tempted to sell em.. But damnit they're luxurious.

They're actually really good for skating, plus you get the feeling that you're Lance Mountain.
