Wearing the AA authentic high pro around.

Rothco’s?
Shoes look dope here, on foot.
I’m so lazy and inflexible I just looked at them and sighed thinking about how long they’ll take to lace up

Yeah, they are artform pants but they use Rothco blanks.

I lace them to pretty loose and when they are on my feet then I lace them up again. A little hassle but not too bad, really helpful lacing up blazers.

Swapped the PU insole out for some lunarlon ones and these feel like a dream.
can't decide if I want to skate these or the one star slips I got from the same sale.

Highs or lows?

You are in a win win, both sick/skate rad.

I mean....fuck. Highs always work.
Less folks/fits can make the lows look as good imo.

I told myself one pair has to go back - that's going to be more difficult than I thought

I agree with this! I've skated both the lows and the highs, and I also liked the highs a lot more. They felt much more supportive for my ankle, unsurprisingly.

out with the old

Back to some Louies. Can't really decide which of the two I like more, but I like them both enough to go back and forth. These Louies came with their older insole that I'm not as fond of, but thankfully I've got a few pairs of their newer ones lying around.

can you explain the difference in the insoles? Not sure which I have in my pair. Before/after skated shoe pics are sick. LLs are so crispy when new.

I look for them on eBay all the time. Got these for like $20 brand new. I'm sad that huf is no longer in the shoe game :/

Second pair of Spanky G6's. Had the black/white first pair. Such a solid shoe. I like that it looks mellow whilst providing solid support and cushion. Hard to find that combo.

I dunno if the different ones have different names or not, but the last few Converse I had came with a solid rubber insole (the blue one) that imo is more comfortable and supportive. Even some newer colorways of the LL's I had came with my preferred insole so I'm assuming it's newer.

Got the lynx on today. Super comfortable. Going for Shanahan vibez wit da khaki.

I bought the same colorway online for $75. Surprising how much thinner they feel, than they look. The DC chunky cupsoles are the cat's meow.

I've got a pair of the white / olives and I'm happy that everyone who has skated a pair in here seems stoked on them. Makes me excited to give them a shot. Although I went on a big shoe buying binge lately so have a lot of pairs to get through.

Got them right as they came out for a similar price online, as well. Having never owned the Lynx, I was also surprised at how flexible and thin for the “thick” cupsole vibe it has. I like!
Making me want Kalis OG since these are so comfy and skate pretty good for the couple sessions I’ve had in them.

Two of the opposite ends of the cupsole spectrum on this page with the spanky g6 and lynx.

I got some not really expecting to be able to skate them, and now I have several because of how good they skate. They actually have nice board feel. I had some back in the day and I remembered liking them, but I was still pleasantly surprised by how these skate and feel.

Not a colour I'd typically pick but they were on sale and its grown on me as these shoes die.
