First pair of halfcabs. Only two sessions but I'm really enjoying them so far. I like the detail of the halfcab 92 vs regular halfcab.

Hell yeah! Just got these last Thursday. They're sick. I'm used to a little thinner shoe but I couldn't pass these up. Half cabs have to be one of the best shoes out. Once they're broken in and the rubber around the flick area has worn down they're great. They do feel a little wide but not enough for me to dislike them.

Yeah I got mine last month after being on Adidas superstars and businetz vulcs for awhile. The board feel is great, they're grippy in comparison. The extra foxing tape around the toe is finally wearing down but was messing with my flick at first. Would probably get another pair. Only downside is theyre HOT. Don't breathe at all.

My buddy has these and they look grand. I like how they wear out too as they don’t get dirty but just a tad less bright and almost have a nice suede scuff.
I think he ordered two pairs and he showed me the all white leather ones which he grabbed. Those however are not the 92’s.

Bought these textile DC's on sale just for chilling or b-ball this summer, but skated them as soon as I got them.

Spanky G6. Found them on sale and i'm really liking the fit and quality of them. Only thing I wish is that the heel was a little more padded

where on sale? still need a pair
Zappos oddly had the black and whites for like $51. I understand the shoe has G6 and is more advanced than it looks, but that $80 retail price was a joke from the start.

How is the sizing on those? Did you go up or down at all?

Can't remember so I'm asking again:
Rowan's are tts? On slip on pros and Rowley Rapidwelds I wear a size 8 but I also had then in 8.5 which are still ok but 8 is better for me
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

Sizing seems very accurate. I got an 11 I like my shoes to be just a tiny bit roomy at the front so they don't hurt my toes. for comparison I wear a 10.5 in Janoskis, 11 in vans old schools and an 11 in most other shoes. It has a fit similar to the Janoski or Dylan slip which works well for me.

That's a great way to describe the wear. Pretty impressed so far after about 4 hours on them. The suede is holding up much better than my last two Adidas.

My wife got me the Rowans for my 30th. They skate really good right away. I'm coming from skating 3 pairs of GT Blazers in a row and these feel more supportive and they skate great. I filmed myself do 30 flat ground tricks for my birthday but once I picked up my video it 00:00 so I literally hit record and then stop almost immediately after.

Board feel is pretty good. But a big difference is the midsole foam goes all the way down the shoe, so the toe doesn't flex the same way a vulc would, however I prefer that bit of stiffness personally. But if you really like feeling every single thing on your board they don't give that but I still feel a lot of control in them.

My first pair of Lakai's! I think they were on Parade on sale and were like $40 so why not? They were pretty tight fitting but after a few days of casually wearing them around the office and house, they formed to my feet pretty good. In a few months once they are super broken in, I can't wait to skate them! I think they look good.

No pics, but I just got the all black Tyshawn's.  I was curious to try them and they were on sale.

Thanks to the pals for the recommendation.  I think these will suit my old joints well.  Super comfy.

Oh man, I really like that colorway as a lifelong Pistons fan (I know, I know.  They've been irrelevant for over a decade).  I've never skated a leather skate shoe, and didn't want to take the risk.

I'm skating 2 different pairs of 440's at the moment, and they've been pretty good, albeit a little lacking in durability in my opinion.

I haven't been able to skate the Tyshawn's yet, and probably won't until my 440's are done.  That's a blatant lie, because I'm really curious to see how they skate, but in my mind, I'm going to rip apart mine and then move on.  We'll see...

Just got some of these. Returning for a half size smaller. They seem like they're going to be too narrow and pointy for me but oh well, I want to give them a shot.

I'm trying to decide what shoes to skate next. Should I skate in the Wino slip on or Adidas campus adv. What should I choose.

I didn't like Campus adv personally, shoe felt too sloppy with lack of structure especially when the laces are gone and laces are gone pretty much every session atleast for me. But then again, i kinda enjoy puffier shoes. Flick was amazing tho. It didn't also hold up as good durability wise like other Adidas shoes.

Damn, didn't think of the Detroit Pistons on that colorway!

Usually the only difference in leather compared to suede for me is that the shoe feels a little stiffer and might keep their structure better/longer!

Just got em in the mail in this second  ;D

Adidas Coronado, got them for less than 40€. True to size, super comfortable, leather feels premium and the suede patch on the heel tab makes them perfect to wear them without socks.

Insoles are not removable but I think they will skate ok.I'm probably going to use them around the office this summer and skate them after that.

Tried out the Spanky G6 today. Got them in the same size as what I wear in Vans Pros

The shoe is pretty sharp looking.

It's pointy. Some of you might like that. It has a dress-shoe feel to it looking down. I thought it was going to be an issue for comfort, but they felt ok in regards to the narrowness. My flick was pretty weird though. I was doing kickflips and the flick was either like a dagger into my board, or really low friction. Took a while to get it consistent. Not too psyched on that.

The sole is pretty hard. It was plasticy and slippery at first but that wore off. I guess the G6 runs through the whole sole and takes away a bit of boardfeel. I found myself having to consciously feel for the edge of the board when setting up my feet. Also, it doesn't have a cushy feel to it. It just feels dense. After skating, I compared the flexibility of the sole to a pair of once-worn DC Lynx, and the DCs actually felt more flexible. It was kinda hard to show with a picture but you get the point.

Overall, I guess they'll do the job, but they're nothing I'd recommend. Still love Spanky though.

Hell yeah, I got the whites as well. They're firm but comfy right out the box, gonna wait a lil while but I’m stoked to skate em.

Kalis Lite. Super comfy right out the box, fits my foot like a glove. Been resting my ankle so I’m just wearing em inside for now. Going to lace em to the top once I skate them.

Your going to love them. First impressions skating them is they like a cross between NB and DC. I landed most of my fliptricks first try after putting them on, and new Cupsole usually F me up for a session or two. Money well spent so far.

Started skating these again to wear down the grip a bit on my new board and they've been really satisfying. I really wish other brands (emerica) would make shoes with this much substance. I love not feeling like I'm walking on ground, and the I'm really into real rubber toe caps and not that screened on bullsh*t. I'm also interested in trying the lynx OG, but I hate how thick the reissues look in comparison to the originals from 98-00.. and I'm not really into DC to begin with :o

Perfect Puff: thicker than the AVEs but not quite as thick as high school.
