I’m going back to these Reebok’s for now. If they don’t workout I might try to skate some Busenitz’s that I’ve had laying around for a while. I own more shoes than any normal person ever should. The Legacy Slims I’ve been skating might be too small for me and causing my arches to cramp up and other ankle/lower leg pains. I’m gonna skate some other stuff for a bit to see if it was the DC’s, or something else completely

Haha nice

Get footprint insole gamechangers. I had the same issues for mad long and those insoles helped a lot.

Vans slip-on pros with "enhanced durability" are really rough to wear. I'd been skating barefoot in authentics with no problems. These slipons feel like 50 grit sandpaper even with socks.

Grabbed a pair of the Manchester XLK's today - they feel dope but are definitely a slim shoe. Not a bulky cupsole at all, the sole is soft and flexible like an es' Accel slim, maybe even more so. Kinda wanted the white ones but this is what we got at the shop. As others have noted, they don't really have the same toe shape as the OG cupsole Manchester - pointier for sure. Probably just chillers.

Shout out to Budgie.  ;D

Skating these currently. Two sessions so far, pretty good right out of the box but I'm surprised how much they have already stretched. They'll probably get pretty floppy. The toe looks a little different but the flick feels almost exactly how I remember the originals.

Those look awesome. I usually skate vulcs but I'd be down to give these a try. Do they run true to size?

Does your pair have one shoe with a square toe and the other with a round toe like the pair in this pic? Variety!  ;)

How many pairs of shoes do you bring on vacation?
Since covids been happening I’ve really. Even rotating my shoes a lot and wearing up to 4 pairs a day
1)Skate shoes-for actual skating
2)Skate chillers-for chillin going to store cruising, getting mail, bike rides.
3)Chillers- usually air maxs, going to get a bite to eat or something.
4)Runners- for working out, cleaning house.
5)beach chillers- top siders, crocs, Slip ima,for chillin at beach, no sock slip on
6)mudders- for going on hikes, fishing and rainy days, usually old air maxs or old runners
7)Ballers-for playing b-ball
8)golfers-probs gonna play a round on vacation
9)bowlers- hate renting shoes but love bowling when I’m out of town great scene at bowling alleys.
11)beasters-some expensive hypebeast shit I keep in the box and show off at the crib or hotel room. Usually some dunks or something.

Depends on the type of Vacation. I was in Iceland last March for my sister's wedding and I brought 4 pairs tops: hiking boots (i hiked a fricking glacier!), dress shoes (wedding/formal dinners), flip flops for lounging and public shower type places, and a pair of all black Reynolds G6 (these were my casual/walking shoes and skating shoes for the trip. If were going on a more skate oriented trip and had less obligations, I'd have around 4-6. 2-3 to skate in and 2-3 for running, hiking, lounging, etc. If I'm flying, might have to half that hahah

Nice. I really like the way they look but I feel like in my size (11.5-12) they'd be all bulky and suffocate the skateboard

They are more narrow than I expected and have a good flick I think they would look sick in a bigger size

Got the random urge to skate some half cabs again recently; so I went out and bought a pair. Each pair feels different cuz of the multiple factories that Vans has that produces these; this pair feels a bit thicker and sturdier than my last pair from last year and also looks less blocky than my last pair as well. I’m digging it.

Skating Half Cabs right now, didn't even remember how good they feel. The new insoles also work like a dream, atleast for me.

New insoles? You mean for the OG ones? Did they update the insole to those? Maybe that’s why they feel thicker to me this time around.
