Agreed, the kalynx zeros are surprisingly good. Good fit, better board feel than kalis1s AND they have a suede toecap. Wutang + camo colorway, what's not to like?

I was starting to break in the Kalynx OG, but considering that these will have more colorways, they're going back on ice.

People skate their shoes for a long time because they want
a) money's worth
b) shoe still has plenty of life in spite of visible wear
c) they don't have multiple shoes to rotate
d) care about producing less shoe pollution via waste than necessary

The color is great, minus the obvious. I can deal with the tongue signatures, them double knees are loose enough to cover them.

Even the neutered California acetone took it off. Microfiber,  elbow grease and about 10 minutes now I have a shoe an adult can wear.

Had to put in a FP insole so my knees don’t hate me. Skated them a couple of times and enjoy them for cruising transitions etc… my only gripe is that the sole looks kinda dusty when it gets scuffed.

They still feel pretty good to me…

nice! I guess rotating them through new shoes makes sense then, especially thin lakai vulcs. Was a nice tech. Even in their cons at the time too. Good to hear maybe some insoles have a slight diff foam compound, who knows! Enjoy
