I was honestly surprised, as I haven't bought a pair of [new] sb dunks in at least 15 years and they actually feel supportive around the Achilles/heel and fit how I like. The leather is pretty soft out the box (queue Leather So Soft by Wayne & Mr. Respek), worth the $10 I actually paid for them. I just can't stop buying white shoes, it's a borderline compulsion at this point and the gear madness is real. So strange that growing up it was always black, blue or brown, the only white shoe I had was a pair of leather half-cabs from 2002/2003. I actually just took those to a cobbler to get the foam around the heel replaced, as the foam dry-rotted and crumbled like crazy, very excited to see the results and will post pictures when I get them.

I’d say so yeah.  I’m 11.5 but they don’t do half sizes, so I ordered the 12s and they were too big, then ordered 11s and they’re a bit snug.

Thought I’d post a quick update on the DHGate Dunks for those who asked.. have skated them for 12hrs now, give or take, including an hour long session in the snow.  Mostly ledges and a conservative amount of flip tricks.  They’re breaking in and holding up pretty well so far!  Are they as good as the ones that cost 3x more?  Probably not.  Are they worth $50?  Imo, definitely.

To be fair, most of their cupsoles generally last a decent amount of time longer than their vulcs. Further, this is a proper cupsole with the Rowley, so I'd expect a month minimum out of them for the $$$ price they're going for or we riot hahah

I remember I had some Bucky Lasek Vans in 2008 and first day the leather went from black to this gray color on the collar from Ollie's and heel flips. The absolute fastest I'd ever worn down a part of a shoe.  Ever.

After that I mostly switched to soletech shoes because Vans were soft as shit durability-wise. Save for a few of the AVE models because he's a legend and those were designed better (to me, at least) at the time.

Just received my DHGate reps yesterday and first impressions were good overall, the look is spot on. These are all leather, with the blue leather feeling quite supple but the yellow feeling slightly gritty (maybe that's how it's supposed to be, I'm not 100% sure, but many of the pictures on the listing have that same kind of pebble leather), but it doesn't detract from the look. They don't feel as thick as the non-SB dunks I just purchased from Nike, but I'll have to try them side-by-side for a full reporting.

Worth the $40 I paid? Fucking right! Definitely going to be picking up a white pair and I'd love to try a suede pair in the future. While I love and own many pairs of shoes, I'm by no means a "sneakerhead" and don't subscribe to some kind of anti-rep mentality, the bottom line is that I would never pay what the reseller market wants for probably 95% of colorways, it's all inflated hype and manipulated scarcity created by none other than the reseller market.
