What size are they? If you’re not feeling them anymore I’ll cop em off you. That’s my favorite cons shoe ever, skated a bunch of em back then.

early cons was some of the best stuff. They lost their stride for a while, and they're coming back, the pops, the star player, and sumner were the best.

its the padding around the ankle/tongue that I think make a pretty big difference. I wonder if we will look back at certain shoes and make fun of certain eras because it was very...unwise to like shoes that had SO little padding.

I definitely look back on when I exclusively skated authentics and wonder "what the fuck was I thinking" lol guess maybe my younger feet could just handle it. i think about going back to that now and again but probably not wise.

Had to pop on that Zoomies special for Fastbreak #6, first pair of black shoes I've purchased and worn in probably 3 years but I'm kind of feeling that special love I had for black Accels in my yoot.

I've done both, .5 down definitely fits a bit snugger (which I like) but the TTS size felt similar if the lacing was a bit tighter and all the way up the shoe.

copped these bad boys for less than $40 shipped last week. love me some fastbreaks and these look sick. come with an extra pair of black laces which always makes the purchase feel even better. they fit TTS for me.

also wearing my favorite pants, black DHL cargos. one of my better thrift finds

All canvas Halfcab classic. Fits good but won’t last long. Some candles burn brighter, I guess. I’ll get more than my $10 out of them that’s for sure.

I haven't seen all canvas Half Cabs in a long time.  I seem to recall seeing them online somewhere, almost buying them cause that colourway looked so good, just really nice low profile full black upper, white trim, then saw the fine print and saw they were canvas and cancelled the cart.

Are they new old stock, or on special somewhere, or a surprise purchase?

To be fair, I just bought the last few pairs of the full suede Classic black / white colour on sale again at a good price here in AU, but I am used to putting pro insoles in them and making them work better than any other versions now.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

yo i wouldn't pronounce it "not lasting long" just yet because it's canvas. if you can see some roughed up spots after a few sessions just put on some superglue. that will spread through the texture of the canvas and kinda sink into it. i tried that on some lakai camby (boat shoes type way back when) and it worked like a charm!

@Mbrimson88 NOS I would say. Purchased from the Vans outlet a few years ago. I bought two pairs on a BOGO 1/2 sale and paid $30 total for the two pairs! Finally getting around to taking the second pair out of the box. I skated through the first pair in about a month or two so I kept the second pair boxed and in the closet until this past Christmas to have something clean to wear to a family function.
@chillclinton87 thanks for the advice on the super glue. I always forget this step! I’m still going on the same pair of blazers after a year ( I only skate in them and have had life cut into my skate time quite a bit last year) but being suede helps with that too.

Good deal for sure!

To add to the glue from Chillclinton87, which is a good call:

Between super glue and shoe goo, just enough in the needy areas, could make any shoe, canvas or other, last a whole lot longer.

We used to put way too much of either or even both on over the years, but a little super glue on the stiched areas before use, then a little on the ollie or wear areas, as I always do on Old Skools on the canvas side and they don't blow through at all in those areas.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Appreciate the advice gang! Also I’ve found that using an ice cube to shape and smooth the shoe goo makes for a less messy and more finished look.

How do the Adidas Samba ADV fit? Are they TTS or go a 1/2 size up. I have wide feet and typically wear a 11.5
