I like the tongue straps but I wish they kept the tongue padding like the classics.
I’m sure they’ll skate just like the OGs tho

Haha, I didn't take it as bitchy, more of it would be cool to see them in action, which I obviously took as literal as you could  .  It was a good practice in me creating an animated gif quick to share anyway, which I now may do more often as it only took a couple minutes.

kinda hated my Franky Villanis. I had an UMA board that was slightly flat and I was convinced that I just didn’t like the board until my friend passed some Chuck Taylor’s my way. These shoes have been like cheat codes for me. They’re size 8.5 which I would never consider buying for myself as I have been wearing size 10 but after cramming my feet into these, I bought myself a pair in size 9.

I feel like I can actually skateboard again. I sized up years ago when I got deeply into distance running and my toe nails began falling off from running in too small of shoes. I’m gonna move back to size 9.5 though. I like for shoes to be a bit painful when I first buy them and to remain fairly snug throughout their duration of use.

The only thing I’m worrying about now is that the 8.5’s my friend gave me were the suede toes and the size 9’s are rubber toed and I’m just hoping that these won’t hurt my feet too badly as they are still a bit small on me.

I will say they don’t really breath because of the gortex, pig suede, and ripstop, and like I said I usually only bring them out when it rains, but yea they are pretty comfy, def feel more lux compared to the normal half cab, it has a bootie like liner which adds to the waterproof aspect of it, I would say they prolly wouldn’t be good for someone on their feet all day, pretty heavy and the sole is lugged, definitely add a lil height as well
