All black 480s. Last pair of these I had were the brown Reynolds colorway. These are so much better quality wise. Glad to see they finally have tongue straps and the sizing is pretty on point.

I find myself doing that a lot with current cupsoles. I wore a 12 in everything for the longest time but now I’m wearing 11.5 in multiple different brands. Was starting to think my feet are shrinking lol

too lazy to post a pic but I got the brown colorway of the sal 23 reissues today and coming from 1010 tiagos, they are still a nice feeling cupsole with the right amount of support. my only complaint about them...no tongue straps. come on now, it's 2025, no skate shoe should be made without them. the tongue centering loop thing never works as good as the straps. so yeah, if you're on the fence and don't mind if your tongue goes sideways, buy them.

How do they fit/feel?

@IUTSM actually really good. It’s probably on the thinner side for a cupsole, maybe comparable to a Last Resort CM002. Plush insole, fairly wide toe box. They run slightly large so the website recommends to go half size down. Could be a good shoe for people with wider feet.

I only have one session in them but they felt broken in right away, comfortable with good board feel. Flick is good but it is a big round toe box so it took a couple kickflips to get adjusted.

A couple old heads at the park immediately called them out “wait Simple is back??”

I have been skating solely half cabs for the past 5 years or so. I just started skating the brick pig skin 92 skate half cabs with black tongue and white laces but I skated these and I loved them. Great colorway and skated so well. All half cabs should have black tongue white laces.
