Yeah, those are the black denim ones.
Regarding the socks, the quality varies by brand, but it’s probably not worth the price. I think Polar and DLX socks are the best, with Polar feeling slightly thinner. You can get a six pack of Nike socks for the same price as two pairs of Polar or DLX socks. I only have a collection because I buy them to qualify for free shipping or for the sake of buying something when I visit shops that don’t have anything I want.
In the past, I never had any six-packs from Vans, but have tried Nike and Converse. They’re much better than Hanes or Fruit of the Loom, but aren’t as good as the single pairs from most skateboarding brands. I do prefer them [Nike/CONS] over Toy Machine but not Stance.
Also, with DLX socks, they vary. The Krooked ones with the flowers and Spitfire ones with swirls require more effort to put on because they’re tighter. I wouldn’t recommend those for anyone that wears 10.0+. They fit similar to HUF so maybe those come from the same factory since they’re both from South Korea.
My overall ranking:
DLX > Polar > Stance > Nike > Converse > Toy Machine > HUF > Dickies > Fruit of the Loom > Hanes
Polar feels the best, but I get holes on the bottom of the heel, and sometimes around the toes, quicker with those and all the brands listed after Nike.
