that is too weird, I just saw one of these at an antique store today and am going back as soon as I get off work tomorrow to purchase it!

I was walking around with my nikon and an old guy stopped me and told me he had one of these. I asked if it still worked and he said yup, survived 8 years in the marine corps too.

I have the AE-1Program, which is the fully automatic, as well as manual, version. It's a great camera and has never failed me in any type of occasion. The great thing about it is that you can get em for real cheap with all types of lenses, flashes, filters, and what not.

I have the A-1, an older model, and its such a fun camera
you can get them real cheap with a few lenses and a flash, a real nice camera to learn on

It's a good purchase, you won't regret it. Super good camera. It's a lot easier than the Minolta Maxxum 7000 that I was using for the past year.
