The movie was a huge letdown, but the episodes are always entertaining. Needless to say the newer epsodes suck and I'm feeling southpark a lot more lately.

I thought the movie was really good and don't keep up with the newer episodes but they've done enough things that I like that it wouldn't really matter to me if they had gone to the shits with their newer material

seasons 7,8 and 9 were really the peak and they have been steadily decreasing in quality since. that said, even the new episodes are better than family guy and most of the new south parks.

One of my earliest memories is watching "The Call of the Simpsons" at my grandparents house. I watched the show religiously up until that episode with Tony Hawk. after that the show went way downhill and has produced some of the worst episodes of any tv show I have ever seen

I actually used the Simpsons episode "Homer vs. the 18th amendment" yesterday in class to help illustrate prohibition, and asked the kids questions about references to see if they could pick them up with their knew knowledge of prohibition.
It was pretty rad.

The Lemon tree episode is my all time favorite. I thought the movie was good.
Sorry, sometimes I get overly defensive on that point.

hahah excuse my misquotes, but I believe the end went something like "And so springfield took the evil lemon tree.. because it was haunted. Now lets all enjoy a nice tall glass of turnip juice."

The movie was funny but as for the show itself it's ok.  I kinda stopped watching when they had Tony Hawk and Blink182 in the same show.

the "steamed hams" bit is one of my favorites, in fact that whole episode "21 short storys about springfield" i think its called is dope.
