So this month is going to be weird:

My band got asked to play on the biggest metal event in Belgium. Graspop. 60.000 visitors each day... STOKED

My dad is turning 60 and we're throwing him a surprise party... STOKED

Bought a house that we're completely renovating. Everything goes well. STOKED

But my girl has to get new MRI and PET scans to see how her treatment went and if some cancer cells have returned.

It drives me crazy.

I'm scared as hell. I'm pissed off, I want to punch things because I feel so f*cking helpless. I can't do anything, I cant tell her she 'll be fine, because I don't know.

Not looking forward to the appointments not looking forward to getting the results either.

What do I do? Pray? Hope? Talk? Yeah, easy... but to who?
My friends? They suck. Selfish dudes that barely showed their faces when I was going through hell.

I can't deal with it anymore...
I seriously can't.

I just want everything to be ok for once.

The department director at work snapped his fingers like thanos, and 39 years of structure went out the window. Completely changed my job. It’s been a month and everyone but him is fucking miserable and burned out. We’ve had hour long meetings every week, providing feedback that this new system is fucked, but he’s not listening. He says he hears us, but going back is not being entertained, period. He’s lost the entire department. People are looking for new work or retiring. I have an interview on Tuesday that pays $20k more a year so, fingers crossed.

He also did all of this without meeting and conferring with the union. Who isn’t doing shit about it anyway.

Really not stoked with teenagers. I’ve worked with kids before but some of these kids are way out of control. I’m used to 10-12 but as soon as they turn 13 their automatically full of life experience. Also please for the love of god can parents start taking care of their kids?

The pop in my left hip that started out as every so often has now turned into a constant nagging pain. And now if it doesn’t pop, it hurts worse til it does.

Trip to the doctor in the near future. Not stoked

Beautiful weather all through the work day and as soon as I get out and home the wind and rain decide to show up. Also the fact that with the nicer weather the amount of skaters seems to triple. It shouldn't bother me, but the fact that I didn't see any of these fuckers around in January irks me for some reason.

this pisses me off all summer. not just skaters but everybody. suddenly everyone is an enthusiast of some sort: golf, bicycling, fishing, hiking, running, rock climbing, etc. once it gets a little chilly everyone disappears.

same where I live, now that it’s warm and sunny they all of a sudden everyone goes to the park and goes outside. But when it’ gets to late September everyone complains about it being too “cold”.

Haha I know what you mean. I've been going to Poods park in Encinitas a lot lately—the weather here has been super gloomy so there haven't been too many kids. Yesterday the only other person there was Gabriel Summers; but today, with the sun out, it was a shit show.  ;D

I met a girl on a language app and ended up meeting when I went on a trip to Korea last month. We had been talking for a while and everything went better than expected. I had plans to go back but she is distancing herself lately. I shouldn't have caught feelings..

I want to go back in the fall. Korea is a lot of fun. I really liked this girl and it just sucks with her pushing away after how close we were.

There's quite of few good looking girls in my class. Trying to contact them through class site, hard to tell who's who. They all look the same with damn filters on their profile pic

I'd be not stoked on much either if I read my news from the New American.
get past that and address the issue. the billionaire right wingers are teaming up w/ the billionaire socialist to shut down free speech. or, you know, focus on something inconsequential.

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/11/magazine/universal-fire-master-recordings.html

All of John Coltrane's Impulse master recordings have been gone for over a decade. That fire took literally thousands of albums and we are only now just learning about it. The only reason The Beatles masters aren't gone is because someone thought to store them in a different location.

heavy week here.

Girl has a yearly check up and this one is very crucial. It's around this time that most cancer cases relapse and get it again.

Let's say this is hell around here right now. Today I came in at work and when my boss asked me how I was I just bursted out into tears. I can't take it anymore and god knows what I'll do when we get bad news.

Thursday I'm playing on one of the biggest European metalfestivals, and I'm not going to enjoy it. It will be definitely be overshadowed by the big black monster.

Results on friday...

Hell is real people. Hell is real...

but if hell is real, heaven has to be real too :(

Speeding ticket. Going 10 over whatever the speeding limit was while out in the country, in the middle of nowhere.
