a friend of mine just welded one for me a few days ago.  it's so fucking rad.

it's a 3" diameter pole that is about 3' long at a 50 degree angle.

EDIT: if you make one somewhat like mine make sure the flat bottom piece is longer than the pole or it will most likely tip over when you reach the top.

it was free for me.  my friend got all of the steel from where he works in the scrap pile and then he welded it.

Make sure there is grass next to the concrete and some sort of landing. First dig a hole deep enough so that it is deeper than the concrete. You will need to then dig towards the concrete and go under it, not very far though. Second put the pole into the hole you dug and fill the hole with large and small rocks. Once no more rocks can fit in the hole, fill the hole with dirt until it is packed tight. The pole jam should be stable.

find a pole big enough for a gridded storm drain and stick it in one of the holes, and bend the shit out of the pole, that's how i made mine

I think you can cut a piece out of the pole where you want it to bend then just bend it down. The cut will look like the mouth of a Pac Man. Like this: } into the pole.

If it's weak enough to bend like that, more than likely it is going to break.
