we could get matching halter tops and do kickturns over the dick at fdr, people wouldn't know what to do. I would be a c cup massacre.

i was going to list them but i couldn't really think of any influentual albums they've done. seems like you'd have to at least kicked off a shitty genre to make the list and i don't the the peppers were really imitated at all.

what about faith no more? i'd probably list them over the peppers

the red hot chili's arnt really imitated by anyone but i know plenty of newcomer bands that list them as an influence. they definately inspired a new generation of rock bands i guess. largely due to john frusciante being amazing.... the rest of the band is just meh. "blood sugar sex magic" is very good

when i revist the peppers i usually go pre "blood sugar sex magic". it was the ablum that kind of ruined the band for a lot of people i used to chill with.

it's a good ablum but was just kind of the end of an era for the peppers in the same way that "the black album" was the end of an era for metallica.

edit: this clip shows the chilli's when i thought they were still good right before BSSM dropped

yeah, "mother's milk" and "freaky styley" were both real good but i think BSSM really brought out the different styles they had. i feel like a douchebag talking about the chilis this seriously but it's true. anthony kiedis is just a douchebag who irons his hair

agreed, it's one of those bands where context is everything. unless you were the right age when they had their moment, then you wouldn't really get them at all. but how's anyone going to deny the band that was in thrashin had an impact

Peter Frampton, accidentialy, with his tube singing thing, then Daft Punk using it then half of the hiphop R&B world using it at some point.
