I'm skating Smith's first shoe now and I think it's pretty sick.

West 49 is the only place around here that carries vans, and I doubt they'll ever have a pair of halfcabs. So if I see a pair of these at the shop I'll probably try them out.

they look alot more durable than half-cabs, if they didnt make them for regular hobbit feet like most half cab ripoffs, i would give them a try for like 30$.

I would buy those if the cost 50 dollars or less. But I would get hated on for having them since there DC's but fuck everybody.

I could never skate DC's because when I looked at my feet I would instantly feel hatred for them. I seriously think I'd skate NSS before a pair of DC's.

DC used to be pretty rad. I liked the Howard 1 and the Iomi shoe quite a bit. I had the all white Iomis. So fresh.
I'd skate these, but only if I got them on sale.

i think these are the most obvious half cab rip off. they both have the weird, random strips of material on the side. those random pieces are the only reason i don't like how half cab look.

Well I must say that if I ha a chance to aquire these for $50, I think I'd do it out of sheer respect for Ryan Smith, I really like his style, esp.  how he can skate everything well, and I really see progression in his stuff.

Also I looked on the DC site and I think he might have stumbled upon the "How do you tie your Half Cab laces" thread, every picture that he's wearing them in he stops right at the metal eye, even though they aren't Half Cabs

DC shoes were dope when they had Van England and Stevie on board. I loved the A.V.E. 1's and the Stevie line. Man, I remember when Copelands Sports had like a gang of Stevie 1's for like $30 each. I kind of wished they were both on the team.
