played roller hockey today with my friends. feels weird, but really awesome, to play a team sport again at such an older age.
My innermost jock is revealed!

so someone on this board has rollerbladed in the last 24 hours.

not sure whether "I'm sorry" or "you're welcome" is in order here.

and we'd be playing on ice if it were possible, but its a desert out here.
besides, if it will make the SLAPforum feel any better, I promise to never have skates on without a hockey stick in hand and a goal in front of me.

Won one of the Sean Sheffey decks and I'm in the lead to win the Axion gear from Donovan, which ends tomorrow (i think). Life is sweet. Thanks to everyone that helped in the latter!

The Canadian Pals will let it pass, hockeys fun. Growing up road hockey was played lots but the real jocks care about wearing rollerblades when playing.

Holy shit, that looked like someone playing a video game with cheat codes... what got me were the tight squeezes and just dropping into some of the ramps the way he did. Shit looked effortless and terrifying from that angle.

Everyone is so stoked on the Robocop statue getting built. The mayor denied it, but I belive there are some private groups seeing that it does happen somewhere in the city. I went out last week getting petitions signed for the skatepark in Detroit, and more than a few people asked if the petitions had anything to do with a robocop statue.

Thats pretty funny, though just a word of advice; dont associate the skatepark petition
with it because the Mayor wont be interested then. Though actually it would be even funnier if they put the statue in the skatepark.

I wonder if America will gradually become filled with this type of public humor,--I can just picture it now, statues of Charlie Sheen snorting coke or Elvis on the toilet-- kinda reminds me of that story in 'things that made you laugh today'
