Ben Raybourn seems to be doing really well. He’s riding for Metal and IPath and living in Texas.

Damn those 350 monthly listeners must be raking in the dough. One of my bands got up to around 6000 monthly listeners for a few months and it got us a whopping 90 cents lmfao. Fr though dude is really nice and rips at skating, wishing him the best. Also shoutout Ben Raybourne another super nice dude. Had a random spaghetti dinner with him once. Hope Greyson is gettin paid too.

I'm not one to judge anyone's cringe.  But I posted elsewhere that I read his interview in Thrasher (the one with his cover).  He was very open about his mental health issues and overall did not seem in a good space. For me that leads to leeway and a bit more empathy in regards to behavior.

I've actually really been wanting to get a birdhouse deck, but my local doesn't have them. I've put a few in my cart on their website before, but haven't been able to pull the trigger.

I remember when I first started skating my brother who already skated had a Tony Hawk Birdhouse board at the time, and honestly I'm yearning for some of that nostalgic adolescent bliss.

Birdhouse used to be available in sporting goods stores, but it's been replaced with Tony Hawk boards, which cost around $30-40. My guess is that Tony Hawk Skateboards, Hawk Shoes, and the video game deals bring in enough money to keep Birdhouse going.

It's unfathomable to think that current-day Birdhouse makes profit, but maybe younger kids that are into contests and Woodward dig Birdhouse.
