There’s a great long-form article from a surf mag covering the Fletchers. It’s about five or six years old; I’ll try n find it. Every time I’ve looked before I frustratingly came up empty. It had great insight into the immediate family. There’s definitely a chip on certain shoulders. They’re all pretty fried.. whether by sun or drugs or lack of education or holding on to what they feel they’re owed - I remember the article saying Astrodeck doesn’t turn much of a profit but they hold onto it for legacy. Or maybe spite because they jaw on and on about how “it’s the best” but anybody that quit did so for a fat paycheck and not for better quality gear.
