I think i remember him from his role in "Born in East L.A." and that's it. Nothing notable really done.

My pops would say "L.A. Famous" to certain celebrities which he said it is not that bad. Just by being popular in the L.A area you make a cool mil, but can not sustain a lavish lifestyle. I think that term suits paul sr. perfectly.

I think when Street Dreams came out a lot of the cast proved to me that the acting chops were nowhere near Jason Lee in Mallrats.  I thought Dyrdek playing the typical gatekeeper skater was pretty good and Dunn was a good comedic relief but everyone else known in skateboarding bombed their roles.

Didn't realize Sr. was part owner of Laugh Factory. Wikipedia says he owns the Hollywood location, but he does a weekly show at the Long Beach Laugh Factory every Wednesday. Give locals a lot of spots, but I think that has more to do with the host. Went to a few and Sr. always has an odd energy/vibe. Now it makes sense.

Well, I think a lot of the drug laws are dumb and I'd like to see him get support and maybe due to his wealth donate to causes fighting the drug problem in America.
