Bs Crook/ Fs nosegrind (overcrook) on rails
« on: September 21, 2025, 07:45:33 PM »
How do you lean on this trick? Whenever I try back crook on a round flatbar, it instantly slips off. I can do them every try on a ledge. I know fs nosegrind lock in the same way, but I don't know how to lock into them either lol. Any tips on how to actually get into both of these tricks? Maybe even an actual tip on fs nosegrinds. I watch this tutorial often but i'm still puzzled.

I also watched Tom asta cover this on his page and in my head it seems like because there's no flat surface like a ledge, maybe I have to put my foot more in the upper left pocket to actually hold the grind. Definitely gotta try that out

Crooking a round bar you gotta be more directly on top of the middle of the rail vs a ledge where your weight and pressure point on your foot can be a bit more to the side.

To nosegrind/overcrook a rail I try to keep my body weight on the same side i popped from instead of thinking about it as an ollie over the other side to bs crook... though some people go about it that way so YMMV
