On my way to Reykjavik and even tho is a skateless trip I'd like to know if there's any local shop around to support.
Ofc any other tips are welcome

I was just there last summer.   It is a very expensive city, so I didn’t even think about finding a skate shop tbh.  I saw one skater in my time there at the concert hall and then deeper in the city I saw a little plaza that had some ramps and stuff set up, so there is life there

no core shops, the scene is pretty small but has some rippers. I've been trying to get my friends to go on a skate/film trip out there for years

I had a stopover there on my way back from Berlin almost exactly a year ago. Weather sucked, bring a rain layer. And be prepared to spend alot more than you anticipate. Shit is crazy expensive.
I was there for 2 days and saw zero people smiling. It was weird as hell.

Hah I was there for a few weeks.  Def didn’t clock anything about smiles there.   Did ruin me on fish and chips because I’ve never come close to how good I had it there.   Also saw Gordon Ramsay and the Penis Museum there, not at the same time
