There’s pretty much a skate park in every small city nowadays, at least here in the south of Sweden.

But yeah Malmö is sweet. A lot of spots and nice skateparks. The indoor one, Bryggeriet, is great too.
Close proximity to Copenhagen, but it’s a bit pricy with the train tickets imo.

Don’t have much to say about Gothenburg or Stockholm, but maybe someone can fill in the blanks there.

Does anybody know where this spot is?

I don't know if it is Sweden or Denmark or what, but Fritte and those guys seems to skate it a bunch so I figured that might be the first thread to put it out there.

I’m applying to a grad program at Lund University, if any Slap Pals are locals there let me know, assuming I go there let’s fuckin skate. Just looked at that park on Google Maps, shit looks really good.

Its in Stockholm, Observatorielunden. Skated a lot there in the OG times, with Marnell and that crew. Its a pond, but usually empty. Have had skate obstacles in it from time to time.

Lund is quite close to Malmö, so just head there anytome you want to skate. Great scene, lot of spots.

Thank you!

I'm starting to formulate a summertime skate trip for 2027 (50th birthday) and was thinking Malmo / Copenhagen. Stockholm would be cool as well, but I'm not sure how much train time I'm willing to endure. I got plenty of time to contemplate it and weigh my options.

Thanks again. I knew SLAP would come through for me with the ID.

Malmö/Copenhagen would do, yuo would have a plethora of spots with those two cities. No date yet but if you can catch Copenhagen open your in for a (hectic) treat.

I’ve been to Sweden a few times (not skating) in both middle of summer and middle of winter (longest and shortest days). It’s a beautiful country. Absolutely loved it there.
