When I watched his raw clips in Distress video I just pay atention in his slams. Crazy how he seems struggling to land some easy tricks for him, that in the past he used to do it first try.

In combat sports, the dudes are usually broke a few years after retirement and slug it out in some ratched D league promotion for a few bucks. Will Nyjah be competing in the skateboarding equivalent of Bareknuckle Boxing? I just don't think Nyjah fans "just want to see him skate".

Yeah it's fucking hard to watch.
Like the first impact seems to knock him out, then his head is hit again when he's going face first down. Oof.

Clearly not good for the old noodle.
Considering his ridiculous talent it's actually not surprising he has managed to go this long without a complete fuck up of a slam like this.
Like over the last 10 years or so watching him skate some of the biggest shit I always just sort of thought it was all calculated risk sort of thing- and that he was well versed and able to take slams in ways that didn't pose actual brain damage risk to him. But with some of his skating output I was kind of on edge and in awe at how he was able to avoid this sort of thing.
