2026 Truck preference poll

Truck selection is such a funny thing these days, so for 2026, let's see how many people are riding what right now.


So I think a new truck poll might be in order, just to see at least what Slap is saying re their preference of trucks.

The whole point of this is not to get too involved with other threads going on right now, or put down any brand, but to hear what you are currently riding, or riding the most if you have multiple trucks on setups right now.

I can add anything else in if needed, but also this doesn't break down whatever styles or variants of any brands, eg Thunder originals or Thunder T-II trucks, or Indy Stage 11 vs Indy Stage 4 reissues, just the brand to keep it really simple.


* Added Destructo, Ruckus and Film trucks too.


** Reminder - don't think too hard on it, just whatever is on your board right now you are skating.



*** Bugger I forgot Royal and I even had a look at the Royal thread the other day too.  I went to add it in but thought I would just leave it for now as I didn't tick the "Allow changes to the poll" so people can't change from Other to any of those brands.

Also are there six people on Royal or some on other brands?


Further add these, but maybe just leave it at Other for now - Gullwing, Bennett, Grind King, Bullet, Silver, Slant, Polster, Paris, Caliber, Carver, Theeve, Industrial...

Indy for me.

Switching trucks I’ve done twice in my life and it didn’t last. All it proved it that trucks are the most important component to a set up. At least to me.

I think it’s cool seeing more brands emerge even though it’s not my cup of tea.

Forgot about those, but I went through a few main shops to get the best list, but did it in a bit of a hurry.


* I skated Destructo in the late 90s / earely 00s, all hand me downs from team riders I knew here, but they were excellent trucks at the time.

Tensor MagLight ATG are my favorite trucks so far but I don't have the right size for the deck I'm currently riding.
Also been riding Thunder a lot (standard & T-II) on the deck I just retired.
Venture Standard going on the next deck but that's not for a while and depending on how that goes, I expect to swap to my Tensors, at least when that deck nears end of life.

First, I need a few more votes to be tallied so I can be a 1%er
Next, AF1's are my next truck, I like a 14" WB, and most decks are not that tight, so the AF1s will help get the actual WB is the right range, or so I think!

Last, will always have a D2 mid in the mix!

If you’re coming from venture, I recommend em with ace hard bushings. Added stability with a nice turn.

Royals are good.  They’re stable with the right bushings and have a pretty deep turn.  The downside is I’ve never been in a shop that stocked them.

I’m perpetually stuck between the back and forth of skating aces and then venture. It’s madness. Royals were sorta a nice palate cleanser though

It was more just about which brand and keeping things as simple as I could, given how heated the other thread is about a certain logo and all that going on.

I do get it, as yes they are two totally different trucks, but for now, it is any version of Thunder, any version of Ace, any version of Indy, etc.


Maybe once this one is done, another thread or poll like the 2023 one could be put up, which could really break it down more.

I would also be curious to add in a size option, but that would be almost too many variables.
