Interviewer's vocal fry was a bit much, but some good Jer nonetheless.
I can understand why people might feel that way but having listened to a few episodes, she's clearly a head and really knowledgeable about music and culture (including a pretty solid grasp on skateboarding, judging by this episode). As I was listening to this, on several occasions I was thinking that she understands some of the cultural dynamics and unspoken rules of skateboarding more than the hosts of the two major dedicated skateboarding podcasts (the bar is on the floor though, let's be honest).
very cute story from Jerry about sending a fan letter to Elissa when he was a kid and including a photo he took of his mom lol this was a fun listen. Jerry should start his own podcast, he's way more insightful, funny, and pleasant to listen to than really anyone else in skateboarding media right now.
