Always come back to this part. The intro is great. Skating is great. There were a few tricks he did really really well throughout his peak.

lived in houston when he blew up so was cool to see him at the parks and then hear that he go cover of thrasher then seeing him everywhere in the mags for years to follow. one of my favorite styles of all time.

There was no wire. Clark's planet needed him.
Note: Clark Hassler died on the way back to his home planet.

great skater, one of my first videos was element "trio" and his part in that was really sick. i also remember his jenkem interview where he asked for 35 thousand dollars to answer a question, that was pretty funny.

he follows my girlfriend on instagram and will reply to her selfies and shit or like young thug songs she'd post on her stories sometimes

Probably one of the greatest skill to worst decision making ratios of all-time, but for that brief shinning moment in the early 2000s, Darrell was on top of the world, and it was an exciting, magical time...

Him and Scott Kane as a duo in that time were unstoppable...

His part in Free Your Mind was fantastic. He single-handedly made me want to learn nollies; I think he had the best in the game in his prime years.

This guy had it, love watching his skating. You can tell certain things just came naturally to him. I remember his blunt and nollie game being incredible but forgot he had a special switch flip and back 180. Can't get behind those cannonballs though.

My good friend had this board in his collection since it came out, and a few years ago he was kinda down sizing some of his stuff. I was a big fan of that era of Real, and Darrell. I told him I’d buy it from him and he kinda blew it off. Then a few months later he picked me up to go skate, and showed up and just gave it to me.
So anyway, thanks to my friend and thanks to Darrell.

Yes, enigma is the right word...

Rumors would always abound regarding his demise, whether they are true or not, I cannot say...

I too have heard lots of rumors regarding this dude... dunno how much is true... all I know is quitting DLX is a bad omen... he went from being the humble dude on REAL to basically how PROD is now... money hungry... a wanna be Jay-Z type dude in skateboarding. Him and J Cass were some wanna.be ballers and just fizzled out.
