Except for haslam, who seems happy doing his own thing, the whole OG Almost team is board sponsor-less. The Zero soft launch of shecks failed. While I don't want to condone Old Head nostalgia slop, from a business standpoint, if sidewalk really got Almost too, it's a good time to release some more old head nostalgia slop and make a few bucks.

The only brand I'd be down for as either an old head brand (or a farm system/minor league brand) is Enjoi. I don't know how much a board with Rodney, Daewon, Torey, and maybe Shecks would resonate with kids these days.

I would propose the old Enjoy guys either stay put or go back to Enjoi. Leave the other brand to the groms and let them do their own Tilt Mode/Enjoi, but in 2026.

Underrated time for Enjoi. I thought the squad was stacked, just brand direction was wack 'cause Dwindle.
Not gonna happen but wouldn't even be mad at Deedz back on Enjoi since it seems like he hasn't landed anywhere since.

I skated a madness deck before they got bought out/shut down. Liked their graphics at the time and was really into the single press. Those decks did seem to hold up well.

Louie said on The Bunt interview that he is going to be back on Enjoi. Makes sense since he's not like a full time pro. I would almost put Caswell back on as well as Nester. Then keep all the new pros on Jacuzzi. That would be a good start.

Don’t know where I heard this advice first but it’s rang true for lots of things:

Never relight a cigarette. It’s never as good as it was the first time.

Note: I’m not 100% sure if I personally feel that’s relevant to this enjoi rebirth.

When I was deep in the the throes of quitting smoking, having a little fella to relight probably helped me succeed.

That would be an interesting move given the core differences in Chet and Louie’s philosophies . Louie wanted to keep enjoi out of Walmart while Chet wanted to put decent dark star set ups in Walmart.
