Was watching a home video of my friends and I skating and caught a brief shot of these shoes I was wearing. I've gotta know if anyone recognizes these...

Video was from January 1999. I would have been skating for a couple years at this point. We mostly shopped at Payless so there's a good chance these are some random Payless brand but sometimes I would get a pair of shoes from the sale pile at the skate shop. They also look like they could be an old Simple design?

I looked through the spring 1999 CCS catalogue and didn't find a match but I'm still looking.

Always wanted heelies, never got a pair. Could be a pair of those terrible 90s vans, I’ll have to check some old catalogues

Riding on this thread coattails, a friend posted his early christmas board on ig story and asked for infos. No clue about the year but i'd say around 2004-2005. I tried to reverse image and a couple of CSS catalog too, no luck. Being in France might have impacted the timing too

Perfect, thanks! He will be stoked! I didn't think about AoS. I pretty much googled  "Zero skate thomas raccoon" almost your image name in google and no luck, proof that good old website and the knowledge of enthusiasts can still beat any GAFAM
