It’s crazy they just continue to waste our time with these “edits”. This shit is so fucking lazy I can’t stand it. Literally one good clip (Vincent Touz obv). Caleb too cool to re-do a trick. I’m so over the too-cool-to-try shit, just so lazy. And Prod is on Supreme now?? Woof

I think you and everyone in the comments of that video are expecting a lil too much from a YouTube edit, it ain’t that serious, or maybe it is, I don’t care

Its just a little promo vid for their Nike shoe. Really just an Instagram edit also posted to YouTube.  Not really worth a thread, or someone should do a single thread for supreme promos

Where are u getting PRod from in this video lol. I think for their weird Nike SB shoes where they aren’t that skateable they just release these really rough short promos for IG but they’ve done better ones in the past for the dunks and blazers.

That one random dude in the awful Supreme sweat pants kinda looked like him and I thought it was funny.

I don't need a full part of bangers but try to film at least one good clip. A kickflip over a bench to a back smith to fakie is not a pro clip, that's warm up shit, don't waste my time with that. You're a pro skater, kickflip out at least or something, just try a little bit. They all think they're too cool so they can do the barest of minimums. It's so lazy and boring.

that "random dude" is javier nunez, place some respect upon his name

these shoes look impossible to skate in. i consider everything in here an accomplishment.

Was in KIDS movie, Menace and Citystars and works for Nas. But yep, the word legend to applies for him in my point of view.

I would say more so than any is he works at Supreme. Like he's more Supreme than even the sponsored skaters cause one day they will all go and Javi will (I assume) still be working there. I am a old head but think it is rad he got tricks in a vid.

I hate to burst all your bubbles, but that's definitely not P-Rod or Javier Núñez (and I like his little Kids cameo and Menace/City Stars history as much as the next old head).

That's Joe Campos in that clip. Much love, but y'all need your eyes checked.

maybe it's because they're referring to the Javier Nuñez clips and not the Joe Campos clip..

I’m not going to shit on you because you’re probably just young, and it would be a little unfair to expect you to know any of the east coast skate canon pre-Jake Johnson. Buuuut being this active on slap you probably should spend your time digging deeper in skate lore and watch some older stuff

The cliff notes is that Javier Nunez is a Puerto Rican from NY/NJ, he acts (Kids, how to make it in America, some random Coors Light commercial), was on City Stars, had a very lousy sponsorship history after City, is very entangled to Supreme lore/brand. He’s kinda better than it seemed at the time, but he never had enough footage at once.

He was also one of the first dudes where the logic of  “skateboard industry financials” started to look like bullshit, because he had some SHIT sponsors for 70% of the 2000’s but appeared to be doing just as well/sometimes better than dudes on more reputable companies.

Do we think he made the free throw at the end?

Javi skating the old small Supreme bowl in Los Angeles was so cool back then, like a street skater making it his mission to master that place.

THE PROOF Skateboarding is dying is that people in slap dont know who Javier Nunes is.

I think knowing who Javier Nunez is might actually be a symptom of the problem. Ever-growing-older nostalgia consumerism circle jerk.

I want young skaters to completely disregard their elder statesmen. I don’t need to see legends skating at an embarrassingly mediocre level. Thats jock shit.
