Obvious ones would be Dylan Jabe being the new age mike mo or Tom Scharr the new Tony Hawk.

My top 1 the most listened music genre is new age. Some people rise their eyebrows when I mention that. They assume I drink crystal water and do yoga (nothing bad about yoga tbh) but I just love to listen relaxing music. Especially when I drink coffee on mornings or on the bus while spacing out staring a scenery through a window. It makes my mind go ease on this shitplace called Earth.

Does your new age listening playlist include stuff like the Buddha Bar compilations and more ethnically influenced meditative music?

I used to listen to a lot of Hearts of Space broadcasts from NPR in my early 20’s. If you haven’t listened to them before, then I hope you enjoy it.

Skating so broad and diverse these days while also so trendy heavy idk if these comparisons are worthwhile. People switch there shit up alot. You dont really got fit no mold 2 make it these days.

Also im not even sure those comparisons make much sense.

Tom never gonna be tony. No one ever gonna be tony$ tony is like the most well earning skater ever. With a video game and normie appeal. Tom rips but nobody knows who he is outside of skateboarders and honestly alot of skateboarders dont even know Tom.

Dylan Jaeb eclipsed Mike mo in career accomplishments and video parts years ago. He actually has a career. Even than tho hell never be Mike mo. Mike mo was very goofy and likeable character on top of being a very talented tech ledge dude. He was a personality at both the berrics in its heyday and crailtap.com. as much as people loved his skating they just loved the dude cause he was a funny goofball. Also he was kind of like folklore cause he came up super young skating super old. Dylan cool but no way he Mike mo.

I guess some of these dudes skate similarly. But so do a handful of other dudes out right now so who cares. When I think about tony hawk or Mike mo for why they are relevant its no comparison.

This is the first time I hear about Buddha Bar and I’m not that familiar with that sort of meditation music. I’ll check that out, thank you for the recommendation. My friend bought a super rare cassette of Tibetian meditation music just to ruin the tape at the first time listening it.
I also like whatever Editions/C. Godefroy has published, I actually have Steven Jones’ Espaces Infinis tape.
NTS Radio’s Sounds of the Dawn (SOTD on NTS) sets are brilliant.

Mark Appleyard was a better skater in 2003 than Saraceno is 23 years later. I'd say Filipe Mota is more Appleyard-tier.

Not new age but I always thought John Rowe skates like if Max Palmer went into the trades. Or Max skates like if John went to art school.
