I'd call it a fakie ollie switch bs feeble, but I remember talking to some pals here a while back about a similar trick but frontside and it being suggested as a fakie Losi.

This is a tough one. I also want to call it a fakie Ollie sw feeble, but traditional trick name etiquette disagrees. You can’t pop fakie into a switch trick. Like, you wouldn’t say “fakie Ollie switch nosegrind” when referring to a fakie 5-0 or “180 switch 5-0” for 180 nosegrind. I’m genuinely stumped, idk… I’d think if we’re going by the established trick name “rules” it’d be fakie Losi right?

I would say fakie ollie switch feeble. I know it's not the most proper name, but it seems like the most straightforward way to describe this trick.

Also I forgot how good this part was. The summer this video came out I watched this part like once a day. The line where he does the front 180 switch crook and then the fakie flip is still one of the best looking fakie flips ever. The Brian Eno song works so well with his style too. Bummer that he never became a bigger name

That nollie fs Hurricane was so gnarly at the time… ohhhh shit, I just realized that by my logic I guess it wouldn’t actually be called a Nollie fs Hurricane, even though that’s exactly what it is in practice… I’m so confused. And J Soy, I totally get that, I agree, just having fun with the terminology. I remember when Elmendorf did the fs version it was generally agreed that it was a fakie fs feeble, which would make Davis’s trick fakie bs feeble. Idk, the “cool” people that I looked up to growing up had an oddly elitist vibe about naming tricks, so I guess there’s some weird conditioning there. It’s a fakie Losi in theory, but IRL it’s a fakie bs feeble, imma stop thinking about it and go take my dog for a walk…

as others have said the technically correct name would be a fakie losi but that's dumb and we as a community never should've accepted that framing for fakie tricks. if you say fakie back feeble people are going to understand what you're talking about far faster than if you say fakie losi. if you say fakie crook people are going to understand what you're talking about far faster than if you say fakie suski.

while we're at it, abolish the nollie fs/bs reversal. why did we make all of this so complicated for ourselves

I always thought that video was interesting because you get a nollie bs feeble, a nollie front feeble, a fakie ollie switch bs feeble and a fakie ollie switch front feeble. Every nose ollie to feeble grind is represented in Since Day One

while I understand the "rule" that you can't pop fakie into a switch trick, its pretty stupid in this day n age. There are clearly exceptions made already such as fakie crook, which is just short for fakie-ollie to switch-crook, so why stop there?

Saying fakie ollie to switch feeble is 100% more intuitive than fakie losi, which while technically correct, sounds stupid af.

fakie nosegrind and 5-0 are obvious enough for most people, but if its a more complicated trick, im not going to avoid breaking the "no fakie into switch" rule to say a technically correct name that then takes another minute to explain.

To me Davis Trick was always a Fakie Ollie Switch Feeble because there are exceptions to that Fakie trick name rule and because of the way he holds his weight. It stays on the side of the rail from where he ollied. 

In my logic I can’t make the Losi Name work because a Losi Grind is originally a Nose Feeble or Switch Fakie Feeble on transition.  So it would be a Nollie to Switch Fakie Feeble Grind transferred to a Rail. Which makes sense because I remember Fakie ones on rails (Carroll comes to mind doing one to revert) being called Fakie Losi, short for Fakie Ollie to Losi Grind which would then be a Fakie Ollie Fakie Feeble Grind.
