God I have always loved this man, he can do no wrong with a part like this, but if he does ONE thing that I disagree with on a personal level I will have always hated him more than anyone here.

Please let us get a Jaeb SOTY instead of another Joslinesque jock.
That part was next level style and execution.

I love this guy's skating, but he cool guy'd himself on the tampa am online contest they did during covid, and I feel like he just did it again. Underwhelming part imo, maybe it was something rushed to put out with his board. Hopefully his next one is better, he's got way more talent than what he showed in this part. A few super nice tricks in there tho.

Part was sick, but I think it would have been better at the end of Hard Reset.

I agree. Would’ve made hard reset a lot better having this as the final part.

Ender was sick. It looked like he was dressing to look like bob.

2nd vote would be for PJ. sometimes it is a fine command of the english language to say nothing and he extended that to skating. PJ's plan B part is the emperor's new clothes.

I'm sure Jaeb could make a better part but I also don't want him to sit on footage for 4 years so he can run for SOTY.

I have to somewhat agree with you.

He has another level for sure, but it looks like he’s going for a more aesthetically pleasing toned down approach which is sick. Specifically I think he is capable of a much higher level of tech lines which we didn’t see here.

Could save Hard Reset but The level of that part is much higher than the video, it would be a bit out of place.

Another point is that there are too many clips with Primitive boards, that would be one of the reasons.

I had high expectations, but this somehow exceeded them. He’s got such power and finesse that it reminded me of the other Dylan.

Had to turn the volume off, though. Can’t wait to see the raw files.
I haven't read this entire thread yet, but this part was one of the closest ones that I've seen that has the same impact as seeing the dylan. part for the first time

I think anyone young and with a mindful approach to a skate career should save some in the tank. This is of course not his full power but it is smart to have some things left undone. That being said, it is wild to have a part with fakie flip rincon be in a half measure part.

No notes, perfection

I think him and eetu are skating the same board on the double set back to back? Love noticing little stuff like that

a Primitive board nonetheless lol Eetu skating a Primitive board in a Quasi video is funny

Massive improvement from his old parts. Extremely well rounded skater. Strong manual game, just the right level of tech. I agree, his skating with tubbs’ editing is such a good pairing. I think the song worked, especially after reading that thrasher interview where he said this is the kinda music he really likes.

Tubbs didn't edit this, Jacob Palumbo did.

I get what you guys are saying, but I gotta disagree. On your first pro part I'd rather see the skater going all out instead of holding back. That's what I mean when I say he's "cool-guying" again, and I honestly believe we're not going to see that kind of part from him in the future. But I'll be happy to be wrong and eat my words, I'm a fan of the guy.

In my mind, Daydream was his pro part even tho they didn't turn him pro. And also, I don't think this was a step down from that. He is skating harder to skate spots and going faster too. I believe he's planning more tho.

I love when really good pro people skate almost exclusively random spots I've never seen before. I'll take all these back alley loading docks over any "Burns Down SF!" part.

Clean tricks, stylish, tasteful spots, with a heavy NBD at a legendary spot ender.
Oh and it's his first pro part.
Weird talking about how he could do better in your parasocial imagination.
