Ruby and Lindloff smashed it. Austin Heilman got athletic grace style. Tanner Lawler Tailslide kickflip tailside around the corner was dope. Aidan Campbell feel like Corey Click if Corey Glick Sci Fi era stayed. Cool direction the Super Co. is going. The editing was a good change a pace from something like "WTF", an all time favorite for me off the soundtrack alone. Big Up to everyone in this video. Worked hard and ripped

Fuck it I’m in! Even though he’s dropped a handful of amazing full lengths for these brands, I don’t think Don gets enough credit
[close]

the credit due would be the general support of the brand. I cant think of the last bad video F even made in the last forever. the worst videos they ever made were cataclysmic abyss and WTF. Only because they were coming off the heels of thats life and set the bar too high. Those videos rule tho.

Everything don has made for F starting with Oddity and the whole cole wilson movement to when glick showed up and we got splendor, star and moon, souvenir. All of which of them have been some of the better videos put out for those years.

For some reason, the general public just like to talk down on foundation with no real reason behind it other than they dont pay their team riders as much as red bull and nike does.

F gave us Steve olsen and HK, josh beagle, Leo, Duffel, Justin Strubing, Corey glick, ronnie creager, eathan fowler, angel ramirez.....

Honestly cant think of any reason to dislike this brand at any point in history
[close]

I think Tod Swank is the answer to the pay and the dislike
[close]

hes kind of non-existent in the whole entire skate universe at this point. who cares how much anyone is getting paid anyways? i was focused more on the quality and the watchability of the videos and their independent value. not how much tod pays julian lewis and if its fair or not...
[close]

Just saying from my experience foundation seemed like it wasn’t viewed great because it was run by a guy who didn’t treat his riders well - see them fucking over a young Omar Salazar or causing the mass Toy Machine exodus and it became a sub brand while Toy and zero got hot.   Duffel is a talented skater, but not who you want as the face of your brand back in the “I wish I had got on baker/zero” days

seems like you were some team rider or affiliated with this statememnt. Im just a dude who skates and watches skate videos his whole life. i couldnt give a shit what dudes like Jim T pay ishod wair or what tod swank said to bam margera. im just talking about how the videos have always been good for 30 years straight and how pretty much everyones favorite skaters have all come from the brand and that they are still sick to this very day. talking about money and swank is so random.

Zero getting big and F taking the back seat is just a natural thing. has nothing to do with any personal vandettas. like when FA came out, it wasnt to shit on alien workshop and habitat. it was just a new thing so the old thing falls to the wayside.

Amazing video. Props to Don for putting in so much work to make all his projects so solid. Enjoyed every part, but Aidan's stuff felt like his best of his career.

"The PLATFRM"

"Storied"

i know we complain about Thrasher monopolizing skate media but god damn these new outlets are awful
[close]

Meh I actually like the lil video they did with the swim team in the van or whatever, don’t care much for the name
[close]

Who’s behind it?  Are they just hosting these vids (which the name implies) or are they creating these on their own.   Hate the name but they’ve done solid stuff this past month
[close]
I think Rockstar Energy is behind it. I like their vids and it's good they're trying something new.

I’m not mad at it , we need more than just thrasher as a media outlet and they have enough money.

Edit : wait I haven’t watched yet didn’t realize it was out , Aidan has a part I thought he was off years ago to do Etnies TM stuff. Gonna check this out now.

15 minutes of 90s gap commercial broll and slomo on every impact making me wanna baja blast myself. open with jess kremer part. ruby ender, she's the star. 2 minute team montage in the middle. fire don, this was miserable butchering of good footage. tod swank is a buttmonkey.

This whole video has classic trascendental time vibes! This one of the videos that would be good if you watched it tomorrow or in 10 years.

Ruby had the most enjoyable part!!! (Everyone went bananas tho). The fact that an 18 y/o (???) Girl can go that nuts on that type of obstacles is amazing! I want to get her pro board.

Fuck yeah Foundation, its good to see that this type of skateboarding videos is still real amongst all of todays bullshit.

ngl I thought this felt more like one of the newer Happy Medium reboots than a FOSKO flick. The blue sky intros, constant b-roll/lifestyle, music selection, jaws sighting, and the overall vibe/trick selection of the new squad.

The exception was Lindlof’s first part which felt classic foundation, all of his stuff was amazing. Ruby legitimately rips as well.

When I saw Jaws in that Leabres vid I thought he seemed like he would have fit on Tum Yeto/Foundation back in his heyday

I’ll be watching this video over and over the next few weeks for sure. I would buy a foundation board after watching.

Over the years I’ve heard negative things about Swank but it’s just one side of the story. Seems like he would be an interesting person to interview.
Ed Templeton has been there a long time, just wonder what he’s really like.

Whole video was great. Idk if it's the few nhs promos he's had, and lack of other footage (that I've seen) but I always saw lindloff as that guy who could skate pools really well but that was it. But fucking wow I was very, very wrong, that was incredible.

Foundation is on an epic run of videos and this one was so good. I don't know what else to say that other people haven't already said, but it blows my mind that Foundation has such an amazing squad of skaters and a guy who puts together such good videos. Aiden's got to deserve some credit for finding all these people.

I liked it, the whole vid reminded me gave me 90s indie rock music video vibes, like it could've been a Superchunk vid or something. Probably due to the trampoline footage that was shot all grainy.

Halfcab nosegrind tailgrab on vert is such a cool trick idea. Ruby's the shit.

Really nice video. Jessie Darnall probably had my favorite part. While the video had some really good b-roll in there, it did feel like they went kinda overboard with it and the slow mo. Don't feel it got to the point where it became too tedious, but didn't feel necessary for them to try to be more artsy. Don Luong video's are already great!
