I get being loyal but the FTP owner not being a skater makes sense. They did not do any work for that "FTP" part. Edited by Reynolds filmed by Beagle. If that owner is a real one, he'll tell twuan to grab the opportunity and ride for Baker/DW again. Get some money before the career's done. I don't even see a problem with him riding for both FTP and Baker. It's not like it's real competition.

 Bet they’re still paying Twuan more than Deathwish/Baker would/could. And I say that as a massive Baker fan, only boards I’ve ridden for like 5 years now.

From looking at FTP a little, they seem to no sponsor anyone of note. That is why they probably can pay Antwuan more than say Baker/Deathwish who has a ton of pros. That is my assumption anyways.

Such a good watch.
That was both cathartic and extremely promising for his future.

The toughest part was hearing him talk about the death of his mum and how that led to him trying to commit suicide - that's when I seriously started crying. I can't get over that even now, and even though he is in a much much better place I still think he deserves so much more recognition and flowers for his skating and this comeback.

I really hope he knows the actual impact he had and continues to have on skateboarding and our community, and it wasn't just because of his wild antics back then.

I was ready to be a curmudgeon about this Out There episode, calling it exploitative and opportunistic. But I can't hate on a feel good story like that. It seems likely to me that the reason he ain't on Baker again is because he's hesitant to endanger his sobriety by being in the van with dudes who are still partying. Which is definitely a good thing to be wary of.
