So I know that a lot of you are blissfully unaware of whats going on in the world beyond your friend/family group, this is for yall--

There is a group of people who are avidly working to change our way of life. These are people who are selling off natural resources by the mile, dream of privatizing water, limiting the rights of anyone not white, and gutting every service under the purpose of "saving money" all while helping another group of people who don't even live here to kill another group of people who don't even live here. These people tend to enjoy their hats being red. 

My brother is deployed to IRAN, Tarriffs have made getting my medication impossible, our healthcare shitstem is a joke, GAS IS FIVE FUCKING DOLLARS/GAL, and shits just getting more expensive. I have a vested interest in what's going on and I'm going to let you know: Pine fucked up.

He came on here and acknowledged he knew all about Tim Pool, but he still decided a couple grand and a comped hotel room were more important than distancing himself from the kind of bullshit Pool spews out. I can’t claim to know but it seemed like that event had no real impact.

Nike donates to both sides of the isle. Phil Knight recently turned up his personal donations to republicans which is why he was in the news. That was the last straw for me and I no longer buy or support anything Nike related. But I should have done that years ago if I’m being honest. Same with NB.

TLDR: Pine said "i'm just doing it for a bag." Not everyone does armed services work for the money.

A week before my brother went to staging, he carried a grown man actively overdosing down 3 flights of stairs because 2 ems workers couldn't lift their gurney/whatever through the small apartment stairways. My brother has performed emergency aid to people who were just shooting at him. My brother has had to tell families terrible news. 

My brother cares about people and thought he could effect change through his actions. He's been doing it since early 00s. He's been through many administrations. OIF, OEF, GWOT, EPIC Fury. He's seen terrible, terrible leaders make terrible soldiers and doesn't want to leave because he's finally at a point where he believes he can exude a modicum of good beneath the behemoth that is (training people to) making things increasingly terrible.
