A poll?! Oh, shit. Didn't see that. No, that's on me guys. Sorry....Well, I might as well come clean then: I was having a catch up with my mates Elis & John the whole day yesterday, during a really long ass drive. And my mate John likes to be really, really pedantic about the rules when we play games and stuff to pass the time (it's equal parts him being genuinely a bit of prick and him really leaning into it for comedic effect). Anyway, I finally got home, got a little bit high and just kicked back with the Slap messageboards (waiting for Match of the Day to start). Meanwhile I'd forgotten that not everyone in the world knows my mate John, and I thought it was a good idea to just continue the great banter on this messageboard, without my mates. So I saw this thread and saw an oppurtunity for some classic John-ing that in my state of mind then was bound to be hilarious and maybe even contribute to everyone having a great time. I failed guys. I failed myself, my mates and you. I'm choosing a Kaiser bun; simple, bit of a crunch and substance, works with everything.

Cheese heads in the filling thread got me thinking that asiago ciabatta would make an insane breakfast sandwich. Puffy and crusty and cheesy and with plenty of air holes to soak up sauce and egg and yumminess.

Only downside: it’s foo-foo. I don’t care. Gimmie that bougie bacon egg n cheese. (and avocado)

It’s unrelated to the topic but since it’s been mentioned a few times, just gotta say I used to live right by the Original Original Tommy’s but that whole time, I never knew they made breakfast burritos. Once I figured it out and tried one, it was over. They actually make one of the best breakfast burritos around. Sausage patty, egg, hash brown patty, cheese and filled in with their chili. Delicious.
