Some real tryhard shit via Strobeck. Great skating and styles mostly great music choices and Efron's part was fucking raw. Holy shit though, man, it feels like he's creeping on his subjects, invasive, dizzying, jarring. Everyone he's filming is already interesting yet he injects himself into the scene, just let the camera roll.

If you axe most of the unnecessary slo mo this video could have been an email.

For most parts you start second guessing if the skaters are actually good but then they sprinkle some elite clips here and there that make you wonder why'd they even bother film most of the other stuff. A LOT of subpar shit in there for sure. Imagine trying to pass most of these clips in an early 2000s video. No matter how it's filmed, a bs 5-0 bigspin out at the warm up spot doesn't cut it.

Kader reminds us again he has that career defining part in him if he puts the effort, but as always you can tell real fast that this one isn't it. It would be sad to see such a generational talent miss his window.

This was the first video in a while that I paused after like five minutes to see how long it was, sighed in displeasure when I saw the magnitude of the length, and forced myself to sit through the remainder. 

I’m by no means a Strobeck hater, but for me the magic has severely faded.  I enjoyed Kris Brown and Troy’s parts.  Joe Campos was pretty underwhelming in this one.  And Kader deserves Violet.  More flip tricks down medium size stair sets dragged out into a full part…

His last part had tricks that would've legit killed other skaters, like I don't think anyone on violet could match or even try them. Kader part was a treat. Had me so locked in, but like everyone else i wished it was longer. I was expecting at least another minute.

Most parts after Mike Ward and before Troy should of been condensed into a montage or 2.

As far as the criticisms about Efron’s skill. I think perhaps maybe some of you just don’t get it? Efron IS the style in this brand. Efron is the most individualistically stylish skater on the team. Efron is kind of what Bill is trying to project everyone else on this team to be.

Weird. At the same time I’m surprised how much I actually liked it but also felt underwhelmed.
The filming wasn’t nauseating, music was OK and the crew actually feels like a bunch of friends who skate together. Some really great clips from everybody and Troy Gipson is awesome.
But then again this should have been cut down into 30 minutes easily. Bill could just edit a short leftover video.
