He had his struggles, and having them be public was probably a huge hurdle to overcome.
Hope he knew how much he brought to others including inspiration, admiration, and imitation.

Gotta say, I think this the first time a skater from my childhood that I really clicked with has passed and it’s weird.

We don’t know the guy, but it’s fucking Marc Johnson. You never see this stuff coming.

I am absolutely devastated by the news. Seriously just thinking about this is making be cry. From the statement it sounds like it was self inflicted. I feel so bad for his son and his family and friends. Truly one of the greatest. Wearing my brown cords tomorrow to memorialized him.
