Honorable game. Cool how the stigma around fakie big spin lifts when it's soaring over a grate gap like that. pulling it full cab hauling with a prior ledge trick would be a CLIP.

I imagine because it’s a lot of beginners first spinny trick after a regular shove. But if you pop it and you’re going decently fast it’s totally valid imo.

exactly. i can't recall that trick done on flat in a legit line. i've garnered a newfound appreciation of flat gapping them bc of this one tho.

79 inches = 2 meters exactly
there is a gap in my town I have never done I am guessing is fairly close to that size, but its such a way you will hang up if you don't make it. theres a tiny bit of elevation from top to bottom. You could just barely drive a car between it. I really should try it, I am sure I can do it I just gotta believe

Great concept, basically a regular game of skate with a minimum speed enforced by steel

kaders back 3 and johnny's nollie flip were outrageous
Quoting another poster without commenting anything yourself is the most annoying form of virtue signaling on the internet IMO. Just so lazy.

was really rooting for Johnny here. thought he had it for a sec, if he hadn't stepped off that switch tre he probably would've done it (although if we're being honest, his impossible attempt was not even remotely legit lol)

having seen him skate in person a few times around NYC, i'm always so blown away by his pop.

an excellent example:

I kind of like the lack of moderating the rules with this. Where both the impossible and some grate clipping still counts. Makes it much more fun and less serious.

Spencer Hamilton is the only person I can think of who k of that does (or did) them down sets and into grinds that made them look good. Easily a fugly trick but if done proper it’s one of a kind.

Louie Lopez's fakie bigspin if phenomenal as well!

7:31

Made me want to learn them popped when I was younger and I had lot of fun running that one for a couple years. Not sure why I stopped doing it (I guess likely because of the aforementioned fakie bigspin stigma), but I think I'm gonna bust it out again during my next session :) I can easily see myself getting frustrated/embarrassed by now struggling to do it though haha
