I liked how they kinda sectioned out the dudes by their teams. Started off w Vans guys. Then there was an antihero section. Gx too. Edit was meh mostly cuz of too many second angles + music was snoozing for most of it. But diego and miles closed that ish out strong. Ender didnt really feel like built up to be an ender, but its all gooood miles style crazy

Miles is the essence of sf skating: he carries the torch now. Everything was so good, sw front crook 3 up 3 down and sw flip fromt crook at emb were unreal!  Everyone murdered this video.

Whole video was great but I loved this switch hardflip. Just a really nice trick mid-line

“No filler all fire”
There was a rather large amount of filler for the lead up to Diago’s ender!

I did really enjoy the video! Especially Diago’s nollie fs flip up the curb!

Daan killed it and hyped so see some Lanfoush footage!

Surprised they didn’t fly out the limo guys for a little section since they all just got a wheel somewhat recently.

Diego is so sick. I liked his weird song even though it didn't really feel like the clips were edited to it

Miles is such a chad it's hilarious/dope. Great song choice

Not really feeling most of the other music but whatever. Banging video

Probably minority but I preferred Diego's part than Miles, which was crazy too. That last gap is huge and the landing area near a hydrant is suicide

Simon is so good, doing that first trick is asking to kiss the pavement

Daiki is a sexy MF

Gerwer is so underrated, I would be happy if I could do half the things he's able to land today at 51 years old

Happy everyone else felt like the music was a little underwhelming. Diego is and should be everyone's new favorite pro. I think this is the year miles tries to win SOTY, not cause I want it but I think this part and the weird interview they released in tandem with him right before tells me they may be pushing for that this year.

Because most of us can relate to Duffy’s style of skating to some degree so it seems more real. I have as much in common with Miles’ performance on a skateboard as I do with an NBA player’s skill on the court.

That was an incredible video!  The skating was insane.  Props to everyone involved in that project!!  Loved every minute of that.

Yeah they’re kind of mobbed but in a very delicate and controlled fashion. Dude is the epitome of the cliche “hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard”…..not that he isn’t talented but ykwim.

I don't know who Chris Athans is but after that line with the wallride on the bus, the dude is in the hall of fame as far as I'm concerned. That was fucking sick. Especially the lightning fast impossible after. That's gotta be one of those "comes along once in a lifetime" kinda lines. No way he was actually planning that, right??

I liked that breezy trick a lot

does anyone know if the bus wallride was planned? Seems like a mf to time. That's an all-time clip.

wonder about this too. I remember seeing a photo of it somewhere and that kinda leads me to believe it was planned

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

19 Polk comes every 15 minutes. Guy on the corner signals when the bus is coming up the hill, then Chris ollies the cans. Looks like the spotter was blocking the bus too to make sure it was in position. Loved seeing the photographer on the trunk of the sedan.

Great video. Edit doesn’t need to be too extra with skating/concept/team this strong. Growing up in SF it’s like every clip is either an old friend or a new mystery. Too many angles on the ender though.

That was the standout line in the video for me.  I also wondered how they pulled off those logistics.  Having the Frank Gerwer kickflip followed by that insane line really got me hyped for the rest of the video.

Eh, maybe. The bus had its flashers on so it may have just been sitting there for a while and they took the opportunity.

As the person who caught flack for heavily criticizing a particular past trick of hers, that was fucking sick! If that’s what she’s capable of, give us more of THAT!

One of my favorite tricks in the entire edit.

watched this through again and i am in the middle of a third viewing--a few thoughts:

a big sloppy raspberry to people on about the editing--i think the video presents so many different skaters with so many different styles skating so many different spots in a single city splendidly...not an easy thing to do

it wasn't the smoothest of his tricks, but Nikolai Piombo's backside flip to fakie five-o (7:40) was done with so much control and stuck so squarely that i had to rewind it a few times to make sure i was seeing someone flip the board

i lived at 24th and Alabama the first time i lived in SF (right across the street from El Farolito, which i miss to this day), and Simon Bannerot's heel-flip to wallride has me stoked that heads are STILL finding new ways to skate that spot. used to start every mission at that bank-to-wall parking lot, literally a couple hundred feet from our door

Antonio Durao's cab flip is one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen done on a skateboard

i don't know how one manages to watch Gabriel Summers' battles and not love him and his skating--so much fucking heart and skill

back to it...
