the more im listening to this album, the more i realize its like a weird r&b album haha. and i mean that in the best way possible.

such a fun record. it's already soundtracked long boring drives, a drunken new year's eve party, alone time w/ ladyfriend, and of course 4 in the morning stoned close-listening inspection for me and was compatible w/ each setting. i can't imagine that i'll like another album from '09 better than this, haha

picked it up on vinyl yesterday and it sounds great. definitely heard a lot more things going on since its not coming through my headphones or dinky computer speakers, especially in guys eyes and lion in a coma. the album is meant to be played loud!

When this album first leaked, I listened to it once and posted on a local board about how weak they were, and how their "fans" were forcing themselves to like it for hipster points. I now feel like a big moron for saying that I can't stop listening to it. I'm not too big on a few of the songs, like Daily Routine, Guys Eyes, Lion In A Coma and Brother Sport. But the rest are all pretty amazing. Bluish is probably my fave right now.

kevs post is exactly what i thought this album would do to people. give the other songs time, they'll grow on you
